Lets talk about the good things first. 1)Check in was really quick & smooth. We checked in at night 10ish, the receptionist girl kept everything ready. 2)This hotel is in the city & "painted lady" one of the attractions in SFO is in 10 mins walking distance 3)Plenty of eateries around. 4)Toilet was shared but found always clean. 5)Housekeeping is done everyday. Now the bad things 1)Room is super small. If you are carrying 2-3 suitcase, no space to move. 2)Bed is also small, by manoeuvring the bed makes noise 3)Everything in the room is old & shabby 4)Toilet is shared 5)Because the hotel in on the main road, sometimes it's noisy at night. It's ok to come just for sleep for one or two nights but not more than that.

Shower glass door shattered without warning causing injuries to friend. Could and would have happened to any user. Shower glass door is not tempered glass from the way it is observed to break. Staff initial response is slow, unsympathetic, with no genuine sense of SAFETY nor URGENCY. It took repeated attempts to explain the injury. My friends, every second from time zero since accident counts. First aid kit box is woefully inadaquate - for example, it lacks saline water, bandage. Asked for broom to clear glass, staff claimed no key to janitor room. Our request to change room was declined, staff claim all rooms fully booked. We ended up staying a night in a room littered with slivers of glass. Hazardous facilities, unhelpful staff.

First of all...San Francisco is one of the most expensive cities somewhere behind Oslo (Norway) and Zurich (Switzerland). The city is right next to the Silicon Valley. Last month I booked this hotel for about 300 USD (100 USD per night). There is shared bathroom and toilet which was strange but I realized that for this amount of money that is what you get there. There was no AC (by the way I was here during a heatwave which is rare) and the room smelled a bit...but compared to the other hotels in the city (and the perfect location) I was rather satisfied. Conclusion: if you want a room here for 100-130 USD per night, this hotel is not good but ok. Great staff, clean bathroom/toilet.

I made this Res online. I was very dissapointed when I got there. I Travel with insulin and gel-paks to keep it cold. When I got there the Clerk was very rude and said no they would not keep my insulin in thier fridge Now to the room. Not really clean, right on the street(very noisey) shared bath all the way down the hall. seperate rooms for toilet and shower. On third floor(no Elevator) Very old building with no updates. Not worth it. should have spent the extra and gotten a nicer room.
