Great location for visiting San Francisco...and the hotel looks good from the outside and lobby area....but the rooms are awful...it was like being in a cuboard, we had no natral light in our room and could not tell if it was light outside..like i said great location but really bad rooms...and valet parking only...
Have stayed many times, Excellent Location, Excellent Check-in, Always an Excellent Stay. Must do a special shout-out to Simone & Sean for making our 30th So Special!!! The Brut was a Very Welcomed Touch to another Perfect stay at the Fusion!!!
My husband ended in ICU. We thought he wasn’t going to make it. I made the grave mistake of not canceling my hotel reservation for the next day (who doesn’t think of weekend plans when husband is dying) , I had to beg for my money back. They eventually gave it back, not after causing me a few restless nights. Terrible, I was going to rebook this hotel when I eventually make that trip. But not now. I’m sure there’s some hotels around with a little more empathy.
I stayed in room 422 April 10-13, 2022. I am a solo business traveler and my meeting was at the convention center. This hotel is very convenient to the convention center and many restaurants. I felt safe walking around at all times of the day and evening. The hotel is older and yes, my room was small but it was all that I needed for myself. The hotel is MUCH cheaper than the surrounding brand name hotels. My only real complaint is that the ironing board is one of those small ones that you may have had in your college dorm that has to lay on the bed to iron. Not very user friendly. But other than that, no complaints. I would certainly stay here again next time I am in SF.
"mini bar" was missing a milky way when i arrived; despite my having immediately alerted hotel staff upon my discovery of said missing milky way, I nevertheless discovered a $3.25 charge tacked sneakily onto my bill! room wasn't clean enough, the duvet needed to be removed from service because of staining; nothing impressive here except for the photographer's ability to make dingy and lower than expected ceiling feel bright and airy! . when i checked in (for a single night stay), i requested a late checkout. the hotel obliged, although i don't understand why the guest after me in the queue was told 1230 while i was told 12 was the latest possible time available. besides this, the staff were all quite friendly and down to earth. i had an incredibly disappointing experience with the hotel manager. Under-confident as the leader of a workplace, the manager here claims their authority over others by putting them down. He was immature, disrespectful, expressed a contempt for guests as burdens, and called me names while attempting to save face while reversing a surcharge on my bill despite his initial insistence that he would not. Onlooking staff remained courteous but quiet, not wanting to get dragged into the manager's fit of frustration. I made a valid request, was right to have done so, and was met with the manager's attempt to steamroll me while making false/unfounded claims regarding my moral fibre. The hotel didn't need 3 people working, anyhow. I would fire the manager and promote the girl who checked me, since she demonstrated good understanding of hotel operations and intuitive understanding of guest requests. If you are looking for a bed and a shower and single serve pumpkin pie flavor coffeemate creamers and you want a cheap room with bad natural light, then this is your place! tldr; half star for the decent cable channel selection (which includes SHOWTIME~!) gets rounded up to one star.…
I wish I had looked more carefully at the reviews before booking this hotel. We stayed there for 2 nights and both nights caused me to wake up with wheezing and sinus pain. I thought I was crazy but customers have been complaining about getting sick from the chemical fumes since 2018. I reached out to the management to let them know about my experience and I never got a response.
Just finished a solo stay in twin bed room, 4th floor. Overall stay was pleasant.Area full of homeless and pot smokers, but that was expected. I paid for great location to transit services, cable car a cross street And Powell station. I took Bart from airport for 4.80. Uber expensive on the way back, flight was too early for Bart. Good tv channels, hot water, clean room and fridge. Not too noisy around hotel , except for someone leaving their alarm on in their room🤨.No restaurant or bar due to Covid. I would stay there again!
Small rooms but comfy. Stayed on the 2nd floor. The window had no view. No big deal because we were out of the hotel most of the time. In room coffee/tea maker and refrigerator. Snacks available for purchase. Of course pricey. Walgreens is around the corner. Staff was awesome. One pool stick tip needs repair. Gym was very nice. Hotel restaurant was closed (due to Covid). Was able to heat up my food in the microwave. Parking can be found a little cheaper in the area. Great location!! I would definitely stay here again.
This hotel was a great surprise. The price was very affordable. Even though the rooms could benefit from some renovations, the rest of the hotel is quite modern. They had valet parking available. + for location
Super adorable boutique hotel with an excellent location! Very friendly, and clean! Small rooms but that’s to be expected in this style of hotel. Excellent bar for a cocktail after spending the day at Union Square.
