Management and staff were very attentive, helpful, and accommodating. Amenities are very good. Location and price are excellent. The room was pretty much no frills, but in a really excellent kind of way. I will make a point to try to book here on my next visit to SF.

My friend and I just returned from San Francisco today. We stayed at the Tilden Hotel for the past 2 days. This hotel is by far way to expensive, and have additional charges that aren't stated when booking. They have an additional charge of I believe $29.99 (amenities fees) each

Overall this Hotel is average. Some of the Staff was friendly and ready to answer your questions. Do not plan on parking your car (valet is your only option at $50 a night). The rooms were average. The holiday tree was pretty in the lobby!

Hi we are staying in San Francisco for 3 nights in November. We want to stay somewhere central and good value, where do people recommend?
The surrounding area of Tilden (downtown) was not the best, however, the hotel was very nice and clean. Pub next door was amazing and the Thai restaurant next door had delicious food!

Hi I’m from India mumbai. Me and my family of 4. Need to be close to pier and fisherman warf. How far are these from hotel need 2 queen beds. What best rate we can get
Hi, The Tilden is right downtown near Market Square. It is a small boutique hotel. Lovely! If you have a car, you will need to pay for public parking. There are many hotels near the wharf and pier. I would recommend looking for a more ‘family friendly’ hotel... perhaps with a pool and family amenities. The hotels away from downtown likely have free parking on the property. Fun area..lots of dining options and a short drive -15 minutes to downtown for shopping! I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions. San Francisco is amazing and we will stay near the wharf and pier when we go next. Lisa

What BART stop should we take to get to the hotel? How many blocks is it from the BART stop to the hotel?

Dear Kunal, we were looking to stay at the property between the 1st and 4th of August with a infant baby. Wanted to understand how friendly is the hotel from an infant's perspective. Thanks, Rashmi
Our room only had a single bed. One chair and a TV stand. The elevator is very small, so that might be a hassle getting an infant up and down.
