Someone broke into our room and stole my wallet and backpack. Hotel security kept saying that I lost these items and they considered them only "missing". They suggested that we look behind the curtains and under the beds. They refused to belief us and treated us like we were making this up when clearly it was theft. Even the housekeeping...

Spent several nights here on business. Found the hotel to be a nice place to stay. It's far enough up the Powell St hill to be away from the intensity of the crowds closer to Union Sq and Market St. But it's close enough to easily walk to Union Sq and everything around it. My room had a nice bay...

I visited SF to attend the Giants play off game. This was the first time I stayed at this hotel and was very pleased with the location, rooms, food and service. I would recommend the concierge level as it provides breakfast in the morning, snacks, soda, juice water and coffee during the entire day and non-hosted alcoholic beverages in the...

If you need or want to stay near Union Square, the San Francisco Marriott is one of several choices. It has little else to recommend it. The rack rate is off the edge: $850 a night. For that you get a good-sized room that is without a fridge or microwave and that has the stingiest array of toiletries I've seen...

Thank you for staying with us and providing comments about your stay. I apologize the guestroom did not meet your expectations. I appreciate the feedback. On another note, based on customer research and feedback, Marriott has replaced one bar of soap with body wash. Sincerely, Oscar R. General Manager

We stayed one night at the nearby marriott marquis and now are at this marriott-quite a difference. At the marquis, staff were there to open the front door every time we entered. Not so at the union square property. Staff definitely aloof here. We asked for and received a quiet room-very quiet. The room was large but poorly designed. There...

The San Francisco Marriott Union Square was the perfect place for us to stay when we celebrated our anniversary. It was well placed in the Union Square shopping district, and only a couple of blocks from Chinatown. We could pick up the cable car across the street. But, the best thing about the hotel is the staff. We were upgraded...

The rooms are small, typical of a city hotel. Sink has no counter and you can touch both walls with your arms out. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the desk was a nice workspace. Views were not that great compared to other locations in the city. The lobby bar and Resturant were dead and boring. I...

Great location, good rooms, super comfortable beds and great customer service. Love the Breakfast full of fruits. China Town, little Italy and most of Malls and Stores are in a Short-distance walking. It was perfect for my needs.

Spent the last 3 days of our 11 day PCH trip at the Marriott. The staff was 1st class across the board. Upon check-in, the front desk associate acknowledged our special event and went out of her way to make our stay even more special. I can not say enough about excellent customer service in this hotel. From the moment...

I was a Marriott associate for a very long time in the earlier part of my career. I have to say that I still love the brand and wanted to stay in a Marriott while attending Oracle Open World over a boutique hotel. I am very happy with my decision. The highlight of my stay was ordering a Marriott burger...
