I stayed one night only at this motel on the 13th December, 2016 en-route to Vancouver. I had originally been booked into another hotel for 4 nights on earlier dates, but due to unforeseen circumstances I had to change my travel plans and as the other hotel was fully booked on the above date my travel agent found me accommodation...

I booked this hotel without reading the reviews and I was horrified. My boyfriend told me we'll give it the benefit of the doubt and still go. We arrived at 6pm and checked in. The parking place was okay, not as horrible as the previous reviews said. We're only staying for one night so I was comfortable leaving my car...

I have been visiting the Travelodge Central for many years now and have seen some drastic improvements over the last year or so. Rooms are clean, staff and manager are VERY helpful, and still the best central location in SF! I stay here for business and then also use my Wyndham Reward points for free night stays. New flat screen...

A tiny room, with old beat up furniture, cracks on the walls..the bathroom needs a complete re-do...over priced for what you get...the only good thing was the location and the parking.

The prices for anything, especially for accommodations in San Francisco are a total joke. So wallets beware. And then there's the Travelodge off Market, right before the Castro District. It's an older establishment, but for the price it's lobster. The motel is a bit rough around the edges, but given the local it's worth every penny. As for the staff...

Stayed here for 3 nights. Overcharged us for our parking and when I emailed them several times asking for an explanation they proceeded to completely ignore me. I have still not heard back from them. Also there were homeless people defecating in the parking lot front of our room. Absolutely the worst customer service. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND STAY SOMEWHERE...

We stayed for a mere three nights at the end of February. The place is an old-style, low-rise motel in the heart of the city. Transients hang-out in the parking lot, and one showed up at our door after we checked-into our room (he said he was looking for a friend). He later tried to sell us a women's wallet...

Staying in SoMa

Neighbourhood Profile
SoMa
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighbourhood home. Most of its freeway-sized streets may not capture the same character as other neighbourhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
