For older buildings...they were spotless and very clean. Maybe not for everyone,,but we loved our stay there. Walking distance...to shopping and good eats. The breakfast and wine in the afternoon was top notch...we will return soon!!

Excellent hotel much more personal than a large one ideal for a lone traveller and in a good spot for seeing the sights. Very quiet at night. Knowledgeable and helpful staff. Would definitely stay here again

The hotel was wonderful. Everyone was extremely helpful and saw to our every needs. Leon was adorable and couldn't do enough for us. The room was immaculate although a bit small. Breakfast was incredible. We've told many of our friends and will definitely come back if we're back in San Francisco.

(King w/ fireplace & sitting area, room 51) The location can't be beat and there are many restaurants and shops nearby. It's within close walking distance to Chinatown's China Gate. This tiny boutique hotel bills itself as a B&B, but paired with it's almost next door sister, the White Swan, it boasts about 40 rooms and it's a vast improvement on most B&Bs. Granted, it is beautifully decorated with very cozy furniture and offers both a full buffet breakfast and a wine and horsdoeuvre "reception" in the afternoon, but there...
