Wonderfully charming European-styled hotel in heart of San Fran. Love the shortbread cookies at night, free wine & cheese plus breakfast. We had the largest private suite with fireplace, but the bed was horrible. Both of us did not sleep well. Please replace the beds, and we will return!

The social was very enjoyable. The hotel, not being part of a large chain, draws a more international crowd. The place has an antique elevator, and no air conditioning ( which is usually not a problem in San Francisco). I had a room on the Bush street side, but brought ear plugs and had no problem. Easy access to union...

We recently stayed in the Petite Auberge Garden Suite. It is located just a couple of blocks from Union Square. The cable car line and the theaters. We had a very cute room with a deck, fireplace, lots of sitting space and a fairly large bathroom. The staff was always very accommodating and friendly. Disappointment arrived when we went to...

I was asked by my company to come to San Francisco at last minute for a convention, and found that all the big name hotels were charging eye watering rates for accommodation. Looking online, my colleague found Petite Auberge, which was well located, and much more reasonable. When I arrived, I found the hotel to be utterly charming, with a...

Wonderful, sweet little hotel. Lovely community free/ included wine & cheese hour plus great complimentary breakfast. We met several delightful engaging individuals sipping wine. We would definitely recommend to those used to small European hotels.

Nice experience off the beaten track. Lots of excellent restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast was a nice addition. Staff was accommodating, and valet parking added to the experience. Try to book a room with a fireplace.

I normally stay in a "big name" hotel in San Francisco but this time I waited to the last minute and prices got out of hand. So I tried one of the last minute booking sites. Spotted this boutique hotel and was happy I did. Modestly priced with many amenities. Free soft drinks and bottled water in communal fridge all...

Romantic boutique hotel/B&B in a great location. Breakfasts, wine in the evenings, waters and sodas in-room were all included with a smile. Staff was helpful, polite and very accommodating. We'll be back!

Thought it was going to be a fancy French hotel. Was more of a bed and breakfast type thing. Rooms were small which was cute. But crowded. Depends on what type of atmosphere you are looking for I guess. More homey.
