We arrived on Monday evening and were greeted warmly by Marty, the innkeeper who gave us a short tour and history of the place. He helped us find a wonderful place for dinner and offered to call us a cab. We had dinner with friends and when we came back late, Marty was still there and welcomed us home :)...

Stayed there a few years ago my wife. Host is very friendly and helpful. Love their breakfast. The room we stayed has a jacuzzi which is great. It is such a relaxing place that my wife and I enjoyed. It is hard to find this kind of gem in San Francisco. Highly recommended.

From the moment we arrived we were treated by a warm and very friendly staff. The rooms and inn are immaculate with loads of Victorian character and charm. Great breakfast too. Attention to detail throughout the inn. I loved the classical music and garden jacuzzi. I brought my mother who grew up in SF and my two teens and found...

To stay in this beautifully decorated Victorian building with its exquisite attention to detail is a vacation in itself! The owner and host extraordinaire, Marty Neely, ensures that each guest is treated "like family" and no request or question is too big or too small to be met. Marty's philosophy for the utmost hospitality and his dedication to meticulous detail...

Expensive price per night, can be expected in San Francisco. Good breakfast, fruits and alcohol available in the lounge. No elevators. Gratuity envelope in our room was a turn off. Nice Victorian stylish property.

I and my family had a long trip to Vegas and California and this hotel was by far the hotel thar we most liked. Altough it is a B&B, I can easily consider it a luxury property. It is much more luxury than most properties that classify itself as such. Very interesting if you want to be in a very...

A charming Victorian building, lovingly decorated and home to a beautiful garden and jacuzzi. I stayed in a small room with a shared bathroom for four nights and although my room was small, it was comfortable, clean and had lots of thoughtful touches like a robe and candy bowl. Never had any problem using the bathroom, although locking and unlocking...

Beautiful decor with 24hour tea, coffee, and fruit accessible. Breakfast was great assortment of fruits, breads, cheeses, yogurt, cereals, homemade quiche (veggie and meat). I really enjoyed the breakfast but I can see that if you stayed more than 2 nights that it could get tiresome. It's located 4 blocks (10 min walk) to the 16th/Mission BART stop and only...

We wanted a place in The Mission District and so choices were limited. Nice victorian B&B with great b-fast spread. The evening host/owner is a bit garrulous, and more than a little eccentric, but charming. Our bathroom was overtaken by tiny ants. My first complaint led to no remedy, and after my second I was given a bottle of Windex...

This inn was certainly a surprise! Lovely property, WONDERFUL breakfast. We certainly felt at home with Marty, Lisa and Guppy. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Staying in Mission District

Neighbourhood Profile
Mission District
From burritos to bicyclists, the Mission is the foundation for all things hip in the city. Cultural attractions, an independent arts community, sumptuous street murals and a high density of bars and cafes make this neighbourhood a magnet for young people. While terrific inexpensive food is abundant, its top-of-the-line restaurants now compete with the city’s best for fashionable diners. Indulge as the locals do by heading to Mission Dolores Park, buy some ice cream, and savor one of the most diverse neighbourhoods in the country.
