I booked my elderly mother for a stay at the Queen Anne last week. She was travelling solo, cross country, basically to say goodbye to her dying sister. I wanted her to be nearby to the care facility, in a hotel with top quality service. We found this in the Queen Anne. Michael and the front desk staff took extra...

We stayed at the Queen Anne in May of 2011 for two nights. Our room was clean, had a comfortable queen bed and a working fireplace (room 212). The bathroom was small but adequate, no shelf or counter area for makeup, etc. The breakfast was a basic continental breakfast with coffee, tea, juice, hard boiled eggs, sausage patties, cereals, breads and...

We stayed one Saturday night at the Queen Anne while attending a concert in San Francisco. It was a quick walk to our venue (Yoshi's). This was our first trip back to the QA after being married there 10 years ago. It was just as beautiful as we remembered it. The beds, linens and other room furniture are lavish. Given...

We arrived from NYC during spring break and was not disappointed. The Queen Anne takes you back to its origin to 1890 with its Victorian architecture and lovely antiques. The staff was friendly and helpful, rooms were cozy and it is walking distance from Union Square and public transportation. I recommend purchasing the Citypass online before your trip, especially if...

We arrived at the Queen Anne B &B Hotel from NYC for spring break. We found it to be beautiful with it's bay windows, wood burning firplaces and lovely grand palor. It felt like we were truly going back in time. Great location, easy walking distance from Union Square and the staff were friendly and very helpful. We were very...

Location: Great if you enjoy walking or taking public transit. About a 25 minute walk (3 km) into Chinatown. Daytime jaunts are safe, as are before 9pm. Recommend taking a taxi after 9, but only because there is a 3 block sketchy stretch of dubious looking folk. Nearby: 4-5 block interesting shopping/eatery stretch on Fillmore. From the entrance of the...

My husband had a kidney transplant two years ago and we have stayed at the Queen Anne for every visit since. The staff always greet us with a warm welcome. At this point we feel like family. I can't imagine staying anywhere else. We sincerely do consider this hotal our home away from home. We can't thank the staff enough...

Arrived very late after spending 5 weeks traveling the USA and South America to helpful & competent staff that placed us straight into our awaiting suite. The rooms are well appointed, very clean and tidy, most of all comfortable (the bed was great!). The day staff are knowledgable of the bay area and more than happy to assist in any...

Second time I stay at this beautiful B&B hotel and I really enjoyed my stay again just like last time. It was great to see you upgraded all of your TV's. The room was always clean and well decored. The theme of this hotel makes me feel like if I was living in the 30's or 40's. The staff is...

Although the lobby was very quaint, cute and well kept, the rooms were old, tired and desperately in need of an overhaul. The headboard was falling off of one of the beds, one of the pillow cases on the other bed was filthy and there is a serious need for a new paint job throughout the rooms and common areas...
