Stayed here for 3 nights at the start of our road trip. Plenty of charm and yes it's a bit rough round the ages compared to sterile chain hotels but it's clean and tidy. Staff friendly and helpful with map and details of eateries etc....More
We felt welcomed from the moment we arrived at Nob Hill Inn. Very helpful suggestions for restaurants and things to do, including a map of the area. I had called in advance with questions and got a lovely follow up email. Stayed here this past...More
Staying at the Nob Hill Inn is an experience in itself. In today's hotel chain world, this unique gem harkens you back to a time when travel was grand and guests were treated royally. The Nob Hill Inn is a true San Francisco treasure, which...More

Stayed here for five days while attending a workshop. My stay was delightful! The room was lovely, as was the bathroom with the claw footed tub. While I had a front room, I did not find the noise unacceptable. The staff were all first rate....More
Swanky and stylish, Nob Hill sits in the heart of the city and is home to amazing architecture and views. The hike to the top can be a challenging workout for those who forego a cable car ride, but they will be rewarded with some of the city’s most beautiful architecture adorning its peak. Originally populated with mansions after the Gold Rush, most if not all were devastated in the 1906 earthquake and fire that
followed. Luckily all is not lost; storied hotels and Grace Cathedral surround Huntington Park. Having a drink or dinner while taking in the sunset and views at the "top of the Mark" is tough to beat.
