I stayed at the Cow Hollow April 1-5, 2017 and would highly recommend it. The room was large, nicely decorated, and very clean. The bed was very comfortable - especially the pillows! The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful - it was my first time in San Francisco and they offered lots of great information, stored my luggage...

Loved the hotel, room is excellent and so close to everything you want and need. Ample car parking is an asset. Very close to all the things you wish to do and see. Hotel is clean and well staffed. Great service. I would return here again without hesitation. Not cheap but within the reasonable price range.

Large clean rooms with free wifi and coffee making facilities. Brilliant maid service, came in every day and did great job. Close to bus stop but can be a bit of a way to walk to any main attractions. We walk a lot and found it hard going at times so maybe use transportation! Our room was on main road...

It may not look like the nicest hotel from the outside looking in, but if you're looking for a good value hotel in SF this is it! This hotel was about half the price of others in the area so we were skeptical about staying here, but the moment we arrived our worries disappeared Its in an awesome location, super...

Staff were excellent and the room was clean and good size. Great location with plenty of bars and restaurants within easy reach. Public transport easily available. No food or bar in the hotel but everything available within a minutes walk

We stayed here for a night on-route from San Francisco to Napa. The room was big and comfortable. Our room was on the 2nd floor facing the street so no doubt you would be able to hear the vehicles when they drove by. This didn't keep us up since traffic gets quiet at night and in the morning there wasn't...

Don't let the name of this place fool you - it's a great location in San Francisco, and the prices are quite reasonable for the area. A friend recommended this for a quick stay en route to Southern California, and the Cow Hollow Inn was just the ticket. The staff is friendly, and there is lots to do nearby. It's...

Our stay at cow hollow in was very good. The location is great, Cow Hollow is a nice, safe neighbourhood, with lots of shops and a huge range of eateries all within walking distance. Only about 25 min walk to Fishermans Wharf too! The room, although dated in style, was extremely spacious and clean, with a good bathroom and a...

We stayed here for 5 nights while on holidays from Australia. Rooms were a little dated, but nice and clean. Location was OK for us, $8 Uber ride to fisherman's wharf or about $10 to union sqaure, cheaper than paying for parking. We had a room on Lombard street, it was a little noisey, but didn't keep us awake to...

Our family of 4 really enjoyed this hotel. It was spacious enough for the 4 of us, and very clean. It reminded me of the Marriotts we normally stay in. Beds were comfortable, in-room coffee pot and hair dryer. We were in room 236, and it was very quiet with a partial view of the bridge. Good central location to...

Staying in Marina District

Neighbourhood Profile
Marina District
Beautiful homes, beautiful people, and a beautiful backdrop of the Golden Gate Bridge welcome visitors to the Marina. Originally the location for the Panama-Pacific International Exposition in 1915 (whose remnants can be seen at the Palace of Fine Arts), much of the land was filled and flattened to accommodate a world’s fair. That ample space has given way to a jogger’s paradise at the northern edge of the city. With the picturesque bay setting as its backdrop, it’s no surprise that the area has hosted numerous movie productions. Daytime activities focus on café culture and boutique shopping, while the evenings turn this neighbourhood into a party-going hotspot.
