We having been staying at the Acadia Hotel for many years now. We have always loved the location, it's in the heart of downtown Bar Harbor across from the Village Green. We were delighted to see all the wonderful improvements that Peter has made since taking ownership. From the fire pit, hot tub, much needed cosmetic changes, lemonade on the...

Lovely stay overall! Rooms well appointed however the issue unfortunately was noise. The old window mounted unit was horribly noisy and with the windows open one could hear the tour buses driving past. Good off-street parking and close to the town centre which was great being able to walk to everything. Overall a pleasant stay.

Wonderful greeting from the staff! So helpful, even moved my car for me. Husband enjoyed the hot tub in back very much after a busy day. Rooms were immaculate, beds were soft and comfortable. Location is handy for the free shuttle. I was only sorry we could not stay longer!

My wife and I loved our time at the Acadia hotel. The staff was accommodating, rooms were clean and the location was excellent. Couldn't recommend highly enough. The free bus the the park was less than 2 blocks away which made things very easy to get to the best part.

From the moment I booked my room, I was confident I had picked the right place in Bar Harbor. My expectations were exceeded and I highly recommend travelers to stay at Acadia Hotel. Elizabeth with her warm smile greeted me in the lobby when I arrived. Elizabeth informed us of the 5 AM coffee and tea service and pastry service...

My husband and I booked this 4 night vaca for our 5 year anniversary. From the moment we stepped foot into the Acadia Hotel we felt welcome. Peter and Sharyn gave us so many helpful tips and were very accommodating. All the little extras really made a difference: lemonade and water at the front door, cozy fire pit and torches...

My husband and I visited Bar Harbor for the first time this Sept. and we are not typically B&B people. Our experience at Acadia was above and beyond anything we could have hoped for. The Acadia is located centrally so you can walk everywhere in town. The hotel has been recently updated and our room and bathroom were immaculate. We...

We found the Acadia Hotel to be a very nice small hotel in a great location. The owners were super friendly and accommodating including helping me complete a business transaction despite having had lightning knock out their Internet and blowing up their printers the day before we arrived. We especially enjoyed the sitting area just outside our room, which was...

This hotel converted from an older home was very nice. Our two bedroom suite was nice and adequate for two couples to share. The suite was spotless. At least another 1/2 bath would've been great but wasn't a deal breaker. Having a coffeemaker in the room would've been nice with maybe ceiling fans in the bedrooms as only the common...
