We came to stay 3 days and enjoyed it so much, we stayed a week! Lots of wooded campsites as well as some open sites and a number of sites with an ocean view. We were excited to go into the field behind the campground and pick our own wild blueberries. All facilities are clean and well maintained. All staff...

My husband and I wanted a last minute camping get away but didn't think we'd be able to go to Bar Harbor with no reservations until we stumbled upon this gem which is first come, first serve. Even then, we were a little hesitant to drive up in case they were full but we arrived on a Friday afternoon and...

Clean, quiet, beautiful ocean view, free bus to Bar Harbor and all of Acadia Park all at a good price. I was a bit worried about the no reservation policy, but it worked out fine. No credit cards - Bring cash or use their ATM, these folks aren't making the banker richer off your back. Couldn't ask for anything more.

We stayed 2 nights here and we were happy with it. Pretty clean, nice people and bus to Bar Harbor leaves right from it. We had a wooded back in sight and it was nice for privacy. Need a few more bathroom stalls but other than that no issues.

I enjoyed our site. Nice view and good blueberry picking(in season). I like picking my own site and staying as long as we wanted. Overall, very good campground, paved wide roads. This place has not changed since I was a kid, and I like it that way!

This is my go to campground for this area. My husband and I love how clean and quiet it is. We have lucked into the few ocean view spots on the hill. The sites are close together but the view can't be beat. There is a heated pool which is a nice addition. The showers are only 0.25 cents for...

A large campground, some spots on the water and some not. Campgrounds on the water were very close together and no shade. As I prefer shade and a little privacy the wooded section was great. Lots of shade and green between me and the next site. Tents were mixed in with rvs. I loved the location. Very easy to find,...

We stopped here last year for a week's stay in our motorhome to visit Bar Harbor. Stayed in a 30 amp W/E site and were able to get into a 50 amp full hookup site in a couple days. They do not make reservations. It is very clean and quiet, the people that work here are very friendly and the...

Very friendly!! No reservation needed. Affordable. Love the full hook up spots tucked in the woods for privacy and camping feeling. Dog friendly! Close the Bar Harbor and a stop on the free bus system. Definitely recommend to other and will be back next time in Maine.

$34 for a tent. The roads are paved it's nice shaded sites very clean. The only drawback it costs a quarter for 5 minutes in the shower it's just a pain to deal with. Wifi here supposedly but it sucks from my campsite. They said it works better near the front of the campground but it is essentially worthless from...
