I'm really glad I found this place! A comfortable, contemporary styled B&B that is reasonably priced. The food is a highlight. Tea, cookies and lemonade every afternoon. Made to order breakfast along with homemade granola and blueberry muffins in the morning. Everything was delicious. Acacia is close to everything. It is approximately a 3 block walk to the shops and...

We loved staying here. It was close to the main part of Bar Harbor, but on a quiet, lovely street. Our room was comfortable (room 3) and had a little balcony that was a nice addition. The bathroom was huge and comfortable. I told the proprietors I have a gluten and dairy intolerance and every day they had gluten and...

This is our 5th year here. Ralph and Anna are great. We like the inn because the rooms are clean, comfortable and unfussy, and the breakfasts and snacks are great!!! They use high quality local fresh ingredients and make delicious breakfasts. The food is not fussy like some inns - just fresh, tasty meals you look forward to. Pancakes with...

I found out about the Acacia House Inn via the College of the Atlantic visitors' information page, and it was the BEST discovery of our whole trip! Bar none. First, Ralph & Anna are the nicest people & the best hosts! Ralph spent many an afternoon giving us tips for our visit or trading stories. We learned a lot from...

My husband and I spent 4 nights here recently. Ralph and Anna are wonderful hosts. The breakfast each morning was delicious with many options. The location is great. Easy to walk to everything in town but located on a nice quiet one way street.

You have read about Ralph and Anna and their hospitality in other reviews by now. The words are inadequate to describe the atmosphere of this inn. This is a repeat review from me, as we go there whenever we get to Bar Harbor. The town is crowded and touristy, but the hiking in nearby Dorr Mountain is the best. Anna...

The Acacia House Inn is hands down the best B&B I've stayed in. Breakfasts were outstanding and Ralph and Anna's hospitality was second to none. I would stay again in a heartbeat on my next trip to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. Located in the center of Bar Harbor Acacia House is within easy walking distance from food, shopping...

Stayed here for 3 nights with my wife and very active 19 year old son. We were on the move everyday and we always loved coming back to Acacia House. The location could not be better as it was convenient to everything. Anna and Ralph were great hosts especially when it came to their deep knowledge of the area and...

My boyfriend and I stayed in room 1. We were a little worried about being on the first floor and hearing noise from the kitchen and breakfast in the morning, but we didn't hear a thing. The room was lovely, and the bathroom was huge and beautiful. We loved the shower! There was a window air conditioner in the room...

My wife and I stayed at the Acadia in for three days in June and had an amazing time. The Acadia inn is about 3-4 blocks from the main strip, very easy walking distance. We were able to walk to all the restaurants/ice cream our hearts desired. The breakfast was amazing, about 4 items to choose from each morning, but...
