We loved our week in Makaha and really enjoyed our rented condo. Friendly staff and residents, and it was nicely removed from any city noise. The only problem was our impatience in driving through town to get anywhere else on the island. If you want a lovely escape, this is your place! If you're a city and sights person you...

I like feeling the country side of the places we visit. But this place brought on a creepy feel. It is an hour or so drive from Waikiki, which is ok, but on the side of the island, there is nothing much to see. It is sort of in the middle of the island on the northern part. Looking at...

We wanted to spend the first few days of our Hawaii vacation relaxing and getting familiar with the island. We found the Makaha Valley Towers unit 1030 available at a reasonable price, in booked it for four nights. The Towers have 16 floors and three towers, so there are a number of others that might be available. There seemed to...

Makaha Valley is on the west end of Oahu surrounded by amazing lava mountains and beautiful beaches. This place was part of a vacation rental and we stayed at a higher floor at the Makaha Tower resort. Getting to the tower was super easy and tight security reassure that you are safe since the Waianae and the Makaha area can...

Hard to find anywhere you can stay for about $100 a night, but this place was it for us. Great ocean views and mountain views at the same time. We love this area of Oahu but it's not for everyone. It's great if you just want to relax, go to the beach, cook your own food and go to bed...

#1507 was our unit. We loved it out here. A few years ago we drove down the west side & said we have to stay here next visit. You get sunsets every night. Yes you are far from everything but honestly do matter where you stay you are far from going to other destinations; North Shore, East Side etc. It...

This pertains specifically to a unit we stayed at, which can be found as listing #394986 through vacation rental by owner. Excellent and timely communication with the owner and property manger. Both were accommodating. Unit 533 is spacious, modernized, and very clean. Many living amenities and necessities were available. Quick access to the lower parking lot (visitors and placard parking)....

We were able to rent a small apartment at Makaha Valley Towers for the week of our stay in Hawaii. The apartment was clean and well equipped with dishwasher, microwave, stove, pots/pans, etc. There was a queen bed and a fold out couch. My wife and I slept on the bed and my two sons (16 and 24 years old)...

We stayed in 915. I will include both the pros and cons of the condo. View was beautiful from all glass wall of condo. Grounds of condo buildings are beautiful. This particular condo was not as clean as we would have liked. Ceiling fans very dirty. Cabinets were in poor condition and could use repair or replacing. Condo was well...

Makaha Valley makes you feel more like being in a foreign paradise than anywhere in the Islands. It's only 30 min from Honolulu, if you avoid rush hour, yet you feel 1000 miles from the bustle. The exposure to the mountains and ocean simultaneously is unique. The peacocks and well maintained grounds are exotic. The price tag doesn't doesn't seem...
