The staff was beyond and above the best I’ve seen at a hotel. The hotel was very clean and the complimentary breakfast was great. Very clean and safe. Well worth every dollar we spent. The management, Reid and Reid was humble, and made us feel at home… Loved it.
Between the traffic, crowd, we decided to try something different this time. Wow, the hotel is tucked away in a residential area west of the airport. The rooms were immaculate and met our needs of 5 people. Its great that there was a separate suite area with a sofa so we can wind down for the day without spreading out on the beds. The breakfast...AWESOME, despite being covid, the staff was great serving breakfast daily (breakfast included - and for a family of 5, great savings). They had the standard omelets, and rotated the hot side daily. The front staff were very friendly, greeting you every time you walk through the doors. Made you feel welcome. It was our base to visit the island as the beach was not our only destinations, and though its a bit on the west side of the island, the highway is literally 2 minutes away. Cons: - Pool was a bit small, but you are in Hawaii so the pool wasn't a priority. - Not close to the beach, eg. within walking distances…
This was our second time to stay at the Embassy Suites Kapolei, having visited a few years prior. The room was immaculately clean, the bed is wonderfully comfortable, and overall, it's in a quiet/safe location. We had a one-bedroom suite which was perfect for us to get snacks, drinks, and heat left-overs. The staff is welcoming and so incredibly helpful with any questions we had. We have stayed at Waikiki before and just do not like the crowds, tourist attractions, traffic, and found much more we like in this area and on the north shore. This hotel has great access to get everywhere, there are plenty of shops nearby to get food and tons of restaurants. The Waikele Outlets are 15 minutes and there is a huge Safeway across the street from it (and there's also a Leonard's malasadas donut truck in the parking lot - HUGE win!). Dole Pineapple Plantation is only 30 minutes away and Haleiwa is about 35 minutes from here (think food trucks and Matsumato Shave Ice). Pearl Harbor takes about 20-25 minutes, and the airport is about the same distance. Again, if you want a fantastic place to stay that's out of the craziness of Honolulu and traffic, I highly recommend this one. …
Great reception at checkin, clean, spacious, nice room, quiet hotel and we loved it’s friendly staff! We stayed one night so my daughter could celebrate her 15th birthday at a nearby event and swim with friends/hangout afterwards. She was happy so I’m happy! Great breakfast, great evening drinks, we will recommend this location to friends!
The front desk staff is so well trained, it's crazy. The kitchen staff was so friendly and helpful our waitress took us on a hike on her off day! The general manager took pics for us and with us. For families this is a safe inexpensive place to stay when traveling to Hawaii. You can drive anywhere but rental car. The food was excellent the pool is medium sized but nice and safe, the rooms were just okay but very clean and housekeeping is super attentive. I wanted to shout-out certain team and I will review my notes and update later. Be well
Disclaimer: Yes, the pics I have are of the food, and I'm talking about the hotel and staff, but I'm a food blogger; what do you expect? My IG is bigislandfoodieandtraveler for anyone interested. Hotel Review: This was my second stay here at the @embassykapolei, and this is what I have to say. Every single staff member we interacted with was full of so much aloha. I even asked my mother if she thought the Embassy had some special training employees had to undergo because we couldn't believe how full of aloha everyone was. Everyone was kind, friendly, and courteous. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met--even ordering room service. We wanted hot water, but it wasn't an option on the mobile menu, but Stacy had no problem taking care of our request. During check-in, I showed up three hours early, and I asked if early check-in was available. I let the front desk agent know that I had no problem waiting until 3 pm, but she was more than willing to see what she could do. She was able to move some things around and get us checked in on the spot! Even the housekeeping staff was friendly. When we walked past the housekeepers doing their rounds on our floor, they greeted us and said, "good morning/evening/afternoon!" The property is gorgeous; the room was spectacular, the restaurant (e.g., Sprigs Grille) was top-notch, but the customer service was LEGENDARY. Never in my life have I experienced such natural aloha outside of my family and friends. Everyone at the Embassy in Kapolei made us feel like ohana. Not the little rascal brother that you pick on every day but the grandparents that you cherish, love, and respect, and would do anything for! This was my second stay at this property and both times brought me to tears. I'm not even joking. I am very honest when speaking about my experiences, and I refuse to stay at any other hotel when I'm on Oahu. If I do stay elsewhere, call the cops because I'm obviously being held against my will, lol. All jokes aside, me and my ohana would like to thank everyone at the Embassy Suites for taking such great care of us. I don't know how we could ever repay you, folks, for the degree of aloha you shared, but I promise we'll find a way. Until then, a hui hou.…
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Embassy Suites. Everyone was very friendly and helpful and this hotel is close to many places to dine and shop. The complimentary breakfast was great and had many selections and daily food offering were varied.
I am currently a guest as I write this. Reid Yoshida, General Manager, should be very proud of this lovely hotel and its staff. Everyone that I have engaged with, including Reid, are so friendly and helpful. They represent the Aloha spirit! The rooms are immaculate, the breakfast buffet and evening reception are delightful and the Sprigs Grille restaurant is favored by locals as well. My experience has been delightful.
With so many similar hotels, it’s the staff at Embassy Suites Kapolei that keeps us Hilton for life. Greg, Pukana, Terra, & Justin keep the evening reception very casual and friendly. Instead of just standing behind the bar, Greg is always on the move to keep guests’ drinks filled and snacks stocked. Terra took good care of us one evening when we arrived a few minutes late to the reception, making the family super happy. The morning crew - Gerry, Elizabeth, September and team - take such special care of the guests with breakfasts made to order. To top it all off, the front desk team led by Reed, Marissa, Shinah, & Asia always went over the top meet our needs and knocked it out of the park. They stored our surfboard to make it easy and avoid the hassle of bringing it up to our room daily; and with our being in the middle of a PCS with the military, they allowed us to drop our many bags off a day early, easing our transition. Marissa even facilitated the delivery of my wife’s dress that arrived after our stay and forwarded it to our new home. Lastly, the room itself was always super clean and fresh (huge since we had three young kids in there!) because of the hard work and care of Taysha, Andrea, Romeo and their team. These acts of kindness make all the difference. Mahalo & a hui ho!…
Nice place, breakfast was good. Got approved for a late check-out till 12:30. However, housekeeping must have not gotten the memo because I got woken up from my after breakfast nap around 11am. Normal checkout time. Wasn’t too happy w/ that. Then, at around 12;15 a guy knocks on the door w/ a snack platter and I had no idea what that was about or if they had the wrong room. The language was a barrier. That being said, breakfast was awesome with the food being really good and the omelette guy is a master of his craft! You can park on the street right in front for free.
