A great resort that is so convenient to everything you need. If you stay in the Ko Olina development, the Beach Tower is the best place to be. With four lagoons in Ko Olina, the #2 lagoon essentially fronts the Beach Tower. Since JW Marriott...More

The facilities of this resort are great, however service was often poor and outright rude. I would not recommend this location for families with children as regulations are strict and (impolitely) enforced. Examples include no noise at the pool, no jumping into the pool, or...More

Because of the dispute between Owners/management, we departed concerned about what we were going to get when we arrived. The only negatives were the workout room was empty/locked as were the pool bathrooms. (Not a small thing however it didn't ruin our vacation either). The...More

Ko Olina's one of the quietest resorts I have stayed in. They said they were booked, but we seldom heard any other guests. Our room was beautiful and the grounds and beach offer phenomenal views. Our only negative was we had asked for a room...More

Construction did not start and we are unaware of a start date. We suspect not anytime soon as Atlantis will be a billion dollar project and planning and permitting takes some time.
Has Ko OLina Beach Villas decided to heat the recreational family pool? I know there was talk about it.  It is my understanding that the HOA was going to decide whether to purchase and install heating equipment to heat the pool. My two cents:  We stayed there when it was first built and the only thing about the resort that didn't meet our standards was the cold pool and we were surprised to learn that not only was it not heated, but no heating equipment was ever installed!!  That is the one detail that has kept us from staying there again, we have even thought about purchasing a unit as we come back to Ko Olina every year with our kids and grandkids - but we wont come back to the villas util the pool gets some heat.  I know I should toughen up, but at my age and for what I spend there, I want a nice pool, and the surrounding properties have heated pools.
