Checked in at our 3 bedroom villa and it exceeded our expectations. It was expensive, but for six adults what is going to be cheap? Marriott next door would have been more for hotel rooms. Every couple had their own bathroom. First class kitchen. (...More

Yes, there are times when the 3-bedrooms are a little pricey. These are during high family travel dates like New Years, President's Day, Spring Break, Summer, Thanksgiving, Christmas. April/May (Spring) and September/October/November (Fall) are times when the 3-bedrooms can be quite reasonably priced. We are...More

What a treat for your father and your family. Here in Hawaii there are some cultures that celebrate the 60th birthday and others that celebrate the 62nd birthday. On your next trip you may want to consider celebrating either at Paradise Cove Luau or a...More

Construction did not start and we are unaware of a start date. We suspect not anytime soon as Atlantis will be a billion dollar project and planning and permitting takes some time.

Has Ko OLina Beach Villas decided to heat the recreational family pool? I know there was talk about it.  It is my understanding that the HOA was going to decide whether to purchase and install heating equipment to heat the pool. My two cents:  We stayed there when it was first built and the only thing about the resort that didn't meet our standards was the cold pool and we were surprised to learn that not only was it not heated, but no heating equipment was ever installed!!  That is the one detail that has kept us from staying there again, we have even thought about purchasing a unit as we come back to Ko Olina every year with our kids and grandkids - but we wont come back to the villas util the pool gets some heat.  I know I should toughen up, but at my age and for what I spend there, I want a nice pool, and the surrounding properties have heated pools.
