We came here after spending four days in Waikiki to stay here for four days. It was pretty easy to get here by car, especially with the GPS, but the location of the hotel surprised us quite a lot. The hotel is located in the middle of a suburban area. The surroundings consist of other houses, and unfortunately the hotels...

We stayed in a large one bedroom. Full kitchen, large private porch overlooking the bay and the mountains. Lovely place to stay. Each room/suite seems to be carved out of buildings that were intended for another original purpose, so the layout is a little odd (charming type of odd). The breakfast is advertised as "continental" but it has hot items...

Beautiful rooms with beautiful views! Huge covered private deck (approx. 12 x 16) was perfect for relaxing evenings after a long day of beach activities. My 22 year old daughter loved it so much that she actually slept outside 2 nights on the loungers (I was tempted too)!! Nice breakfast with fresh fruit, eggs, sausage, oatmeal, muffins, bagels, etc. in...

Cannot recommend this resort enough! Situated on a lovely quiet bay makes for a relaxing stay. the outdoor pool and jacuzzi are great and the resort will loan you kayaks and snorkels free of charge. kayaking out into the bay is a must - there are lots of reef, fish and turtles to be found the rooms are clean and...

Aloha Marli, I'm so glad you experienced everything we have to offer. Taking our kayaks out and seeing all the native sea creatures up close and personal can be a once in a lifetime experience. One of our other guests recently saw a Manta Ray while kayaking! Mahalo for the kind words about our staff, they work very hard to...

Check out Rachel's earlier review, this is not the "Resort" tower you would normally find as a 4 star place, Waikiki towers or turtle bay are probably more what the image in the advertising represent, and this is not the Paradise Bay on the island of Malta. You should check it out carefully if you're looking for pampering cabana boys...

Aloha Norm, Mahalo for the very detailed review. So happy to hear you were captivated by Yvette, I will surely pass this on to her, Tom and Lindsey. Thank you for your suggestion on the Resort tag, we will be discussing this with our owners. We look forward to your return and we'll be sure to have Yvette check you...

A very quaint beautiful resort. The drive in to the resort leaves you a bit skeptical but once you arrive that is soon forgotten. The reception staff greeted us with a friendly warm welcome and guided us to our room. The room was simple yet elegant. It looked out over the water and had a great veranda to sit and...

While searching for a place to stay near my family in Kailua I found this small resort and booked rooms for me and my father. Paradise Bay is a charming low-key resort in a neighborhood. The beauty of the Kaneohe bay from a waterfront room is stunning. It is a little pricey but if you are traveling to Hawaii you know the feeling of taking a lighter to cash. It's not for bargain hunters or people who want the all-inclusive features of a resort. My husband described it as like "an upscale youth hostel". I'm...

The trip to the sandbar on Saturday is worth every penny! It is definitely off the beaten track so if you are looking for somewhere away from Waikiki this is your place. Paradise Bay Resort is a wonderful place. The first two pictures are from our bungalow #27 and the third picture is from the lobby at the free breakfast buffet. Everything about the place is outstanding. The view, room, food and all the staff are awesome! We will stay again on our next island hop from Maui.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Aloha! We are very excited to announce the completion of our room and property renovations. We will continue to enhance the property as other resorts do, however the bulk of work is complete. We appreciate all of the input we received both positive and negative and we have used it to get to the point we are today. We were recently awarded the 2014 TripAdvisor Award of Excellence. We are blessed to be part of what we all consider to be the most beautiful tropical setting in the Hawaiian Islands. Now the property, accommodations and warm staff complement our surroundings. We call ourselves True Hawaii and what does that mean? Our setting reveals the answer. We are located in a panorama of spectacular natural and tropical beauty, from amazing Hawaiian mountain ranges and lush tropical landscape, to beautiful Kaneohe Bay, Chinaman's Hat Island and out to the Pacific Ocean. We border an ancient Hawaiian fishpond surrounded by lush tropical mangroves. The Kahuona Fishpond is one of the last remaining working fishponds and is designated a historical site. We are the only resort property with private access to Kaneohe Bay. Kaneohe Bay hosts the most abundant and diverse sea life and reef system in the Hawaiian Islands and our guests can access it safely right from the resort. Our design fits with the environment and has a contemporary and authentic Hawaiian look and feel. We thank our guests who have stayed with us in the past and helped to support us. We appreciate your patience with the renovations and know you will be delighted on your next stay. The property, guest rooms, new amenities, services and warm staff are here to take care of you. We offer our guests the same entertainment, special Saturday sand bar excursion and we have added a few more; a Friday evening Firedance Show, additional live Hawaiian music and surprise cultural classes. We have added some new things such as; a fitness room, Wi-Fi, on call spa service, new pool and hot tub, new floating lounge areas, conference room, intimate wedding ceremonies and we are pet friendly. We have renovated and upgraded our guestrooms with; new furnishings, artwork, premium pillow top mattresses, luxurious bedding and linens as well as new flat screen TV's and IPod docks.Kayak use is still included and we also have Standup Paddle Boards and private boat charter available. We look forward to seeing you the next time you come to Paradise. Warm Aloha, David and Stephanie Ryan ... more   less
