We’re ready to hit the road! This was a great place to find a wonderful experience! For sure! This is a nice little place to share with friends. The rooms were just perfect for the price. Delightful atmosphere, friendly service were really pleased over all.

We love the Tropical Water Ginger House, Hibiscus House and Plumeria House! The views across the Kahawai lava and Ke Iki Beach are amazing... especially when a swell comes in. With cruiser bikes available you can ride to Sunset, Pipeline and check out all the great spots. Foodland grocery is nearby and offers some of the best poke bowls around. Tropical Waters has SUP’s and snorkel gear too to borrow. Shark’s Cove is a short bike ride away. All of this is to say is that Tropical Waters has everything to make your North Shore vacation even better.

The house is in a excellent location. Close to everything you want to do. It's bigger than it appears online and it can easily accommodate a family of 6. The outdoor furniture as very worn and the chaise loungers were broken underneath. A bar style table would work much better so that you could see the view sitting down. The wifi out on the deck was great for doing a little work. The indoor furniture was so hard and uncomfortable no one sat there. The cushions would have helped if they were not so old that all the stuffing was compressed. The kitchen had grease under the sink and on the cabinets that I could not remove. Cobwebs everywhere, ceiling, fan, corners, etc. There is a $250 charge for cleaning for each rental, the cleaning lady needs glasses. The glass sider doors had fogged panes and the ceiling fan in the living room wobbled and made a heck of a racket. I'm sure the owner had not been there in awhile for no one would allow such simple things not to be corrected. We travel A LOT. I don't expect perfection, but simple things can really make something good into something truly fantastic. I did email the owner before writing this review and sent pictures of things needing attention. Never heard back.…

Hi. I apologize for not seeing the email from you. I am so sorry you didn't have a good experience. I will talk to the cleaning staff and we are in the process of getting new deck furniture. But thank you for your comments! We haven't gotten many complaints (see reviews on VRBO listing 107892, 68797 as well as airbnb) but take them very seriously when we do.

We have stayed in both Hibiscus House and Plumeria House (2 of the 3 properties) and have really enjoyed the easy home-y feel. Both have well equipped kitchens, bathrooms and paper products etc. The furnishings are perfect for the location and we enjoy the de-cluttered space. The location is ideal for Shark's Cove, Ke iki beach and with the bikes - Pipeline and Sunset! The bikes work! And having grown up in a marine environment that is saying something! We particularly enjoy the very private feel while in the house and out on the lanai even if all the houses are occupied. The location is on a quiet pipestem - also very peaceful and quiet. The flora is lush and beautiful. The views are stunning. We love the location of these houses for what we love to do. We love the e komo mai we feel after busy days out. …

About a 1.4km walk from Pipeline and 500m from Foodland and the Foodvans that are a must. Tropical Waters has 2 beach front houses and one rear house (a lot smaller than the front two houses). If you stay closer to Pipe you really have to drive anywhere to eat, which you don't have to do if you stay here. Bikes are provided. Things that need work: BBQ need to be replaced Bikes all need repairing Boogie boards were broken And a needs a really good clean..... and we are not fussy
