The rooms and bathrooms were clean, there was many options for breakfast. The lanai provided endless entertainment due to the geckos and lizards running around. It was a very comfortable stay near Baldwin beach (gorgeous) and Lindsay, the inn keeper, was very helpful, pleasant and accessible. Would definitely stay here again!

rooms were clean, bathrooms were clean which i really enjoyed. had a "rustic" feel since there was no air conditioning. only downside is that breakfast is NOT prepared for you and you have to go into the fridge and make it yourself. options available were simple eggs, cereal, yogurt, coffee etc.

The inn is perfect just one mile from Paia town. We stay 3 days and we like everything. The room is very nice and clean and the shower outside is the best, you take shower by the moon and stars. The breakfast is delicious!! Very cool you make you own breakfast and there is a variety of food. The housekeeper...

I booked the Kuau Inn with a friend for my last night on Maui. It was perfect. Lindsay, the innkeeper welcomed us like family. The common area outside was the perfect gathering place for getting to know fellow guests, grilling, having morning coffee. Our room was very clean and well appointed. There are some traffic sounds from the highway and...

We stayed here on our return from Hana because we wanted to get an early start in the morning to see the big wave surfing at Jaws surf break. This place is very clean and really has that just like home atmosphere. We had room #2 upstairs because that was all that was available. This is the type of place...

My mum and I truly had a great experience at Kuau Inn. At first, my mum was pretty apprehensive and felt a bit uncomfortable about the communal style B&B experience because she had never travelled that way before. After meeting Lindsey, this changed. Lindsey was warm, accommodating, showed us around the place and explained to us how things work. She...

Yea It was a good stay for the fact that you rub shoulders with folks from all over. Good if you're a people person. The room was small but OK. sheets were clean etc. The kitchen was fairly well decked and good to use. Again - interaction the key word. Good and close to the water and Hookipa beach as...

On site hostess Lindsay was very welcoming, congenial and helpful. Do it yourself breakfasts with juices, fresh fruits, organic eggs, yogurts, muffins, coffee, teas. Wonderful outdoor shower, lovely yard. Shared baths were no problem. On the main road but no bad noise. Short walk across street to beach or a little grocery. Guests from all over and no curmudgeons :)...

My daughter and I stayed here for a week and it was a delightful experience. The house was beautifully maintained and spotlessly clean. It was relaxing and fun. Interactions with the other guests was an added plus. Breakfast is provided and was ample and tasty. The location is great and nearby Paia is a lot of fun. The accommodations are...
