This was my second stay at the Kuau Inn. It is conveniently located along the Hana Highway east of Paia. It has easy access to the North Shore of Maui. Baldwin Beach, Paia and other local small towns. There are shared bathrooms and a shared kitchen. Make your own coffee, tea, orange juice, cereal, bagels, yogurt, fresh fruit is supplied....

We stayed for about a week. Outdoor shower is a highlight. We stayed in room 3 with private bathroom. Recommend it. Lindsey. The inn keeper was a friendly hard working host. Breakfast foods are provided and you make your own breakfast. Organic bread and eggs. Fresh fruit. Etc. We found it wonderful to hang out in the kitchen and visit...

We stayed 2 nights at the Kaua Inn and had a great experience. Lindsey, our hostess, was great - friendly and a great source of local knowledge and suggestions for activities. The Inn was clean with shared bathrooms and common areas. We didn't have any issues with access to any of the facilities and there is a lovely outdoor lanai...

The Kuau Inn was incredible. What a place to spend a vacation. We definitely wished we could have stayed longer! We arrived, but were not greeted. however, instructions and keys were available. the inn is quite clean. shared bathrooms, no upstairs shower, no amenities such as soap, shampoo etc. Fruit and cereals available. The setting is on the main highway to Hana, and highway noise is significant.

We stayed four nights in the new year and met both the very friendly owners and their Inn keeper Lindsey. They all work hard making sure your stay is special. They loaned us a fishing pole for my 12 year old! The Inn is on a busy street but if you have the fans going upstairs this cuts the noise...

Kuau Inn is a great base for exploring the whole island of Maui. We enjoyed the very relaxed atmosphere, comfortable common areas (especially the outdoor patio) and a well stocked "breakfast food" kitchen with all the cooking necessities and fresh fruit daily. Lindsay (the awesome Innkeeper from Kansas) was a fount of information and tips for exploring the island and...

My wife and I stayed here on the last 3 days of our vacation. After a week in Kihei it was nice to experience the north of the island. The inn is a nicely renovated old house, squeaky floors and all! Lindsay, the inn keeper was great, super friendly and helpful. We had room 4 which was at the back...
