We recently spent 5 nights at the Kuau Inn. We received a really warm welcome from Lindsey, the Innkeeper. She showed us around this lovely Plantation house which is attractive both inside and out. We felt at home right away. We had Room 2 upstairs which shares a hall washroom with just one other bedroom on the upper floor. Very... More

My husband and I stayed here for three nights. The house is very nice - we liked it a lot. Especially, to meet other people and sit together with them to have a nice chat in the evening- if you want to. Of course there is space if you would like to be for your selfe. The house is very... More

The Kuau Inn is a marvelous B & B, that is centrally located in an old, beautifully restored plantation house. The owners Julie and Neil Thompson, are the most wonderful, welcoming, people! The rooms are cozy and the property is so gorgeous, surrounded by tropical gardens and lawns, with cool, fragrant, tropical breezes blowing throughout the house. The kitchen is... More

The first thing I loved about this place was the hospitality! We arrived *super* early on a flight from Honolulu, and the manager was kind enough to let us put our luggage up until check in. When we got there at about 7:30 a.m, she let us hang out in the day room downstairs, and take a nap, since we'd... More

We spent 3 nights at the Inn and enjoyed staying in the lovely old plantation house with high ceilings. We stayed in the room on the main floor with it's own bathroom. While it is on a main road we did not find noise to be an issue at all. Wifi was great, we were able to use it to... More

My wife and I stayed at the Kuau Inn for four nights. We had a great experience. Lindsey the Inn keeper was very friendly and helpful. The room was simple but clean and comfortable. Everything was spotless. We stayed in room 1 upstairs which shared a bathroom with room 2. Both those rooms face the Hana hwy and the older... More

The Ka'au Inn calls itself a Bed and Breakfast, but the breakfast is "cook your own, although they do supply eggs, island fruit (including yummy papaya)and breakfast cereal, etc. You are also expected to wash your own dishes (by hand, as the otherwise ample kitchen does have a dishwasher). Guests can share the frig in the kitchen to store leftovers,... More

I love this place, an old house turned b&b, so cozy and comfortable. In walking distance to Paia town, but removed enough to feel very peaceful. I would definitely stay there again! I also love that it is self check-in and check-out. Easy breezy, no hassle, dreamy little place.

This farm house BnB is perfect for getting away from the commercialized properties on Maui. 10 minutes from the airport and walking distance to the northshore...no really, it's across the street. Only minutes from Paia main street where you have great shopping and food. There are 5 private rooms in the house with a common kitchen, TV room, and patio.... More

such a great place to stay! Close to all the north shore (wind)surf beaches - close totha crater (1,5h drive) and right next to paia where you'll find a few good restaurants and shops. Everything is clean, parking is for free and I loved the outdoor shower.
