Truly, we loved our stay at Lahaina Shores Beach Resort. I'm only docking a star because it's not some luxury resort--but that's the point! It's affordable and really nice for the cost. Our room was comfortable and did not feel dated. The hallways on the floor we stayed on could use a little TLC but we were out and about exploring Maui anyway so that did not really bother us. A big plus was the walking distance to many shops and restaurants in downtown Lahaina. We enjoyed dinner at Lahaina Grill--an award-winning fine dining restaurant that was just a 15-20 minute walk from the resort. If you want to be able to wade out into the ocean water with your family, this might not be the resort for you. It's more of a relaxing and calming vibe but if you're wanting the picturesque, active beachfront that comes to mind when you think of Maui, you're better off looking for somewhere along Kaanapali. All that said, we would definitely book another stay at Lahaina Shores!…
We stayed at Lahaina Shores Beach Resort for a week. We booked directly with the hotel and did. It rent from an Airbnb. The staff were beyond friendly and accommodating. The unit was clean and comfortable and had a full kitchen with all the necessary items required for the stay. The hotel is close to many restaurants and shops. It was the ideal location for day trips. The pool area is beautiful! Very happy with our stay. Would stay here again in the future.
From the time we checked in until after we checked out, the staff was friendly and hospitable. The room was clean and newly remodeled. Our flight to the mainland didn't leave until late in the evening and Lahaina Shores extended use of their pool area, beach access, and restrooms through the day even after we checked out, free of charge.
We were attending our friends wedding in Maui and needed a place to stay for the week. We chose the Lahaina Beach Resort and when we opened the door to our condo we knew we made the right choice. It had a view of the ocean and we listened to the waves crashing every night.
We had an ocean facing room on the 6th floor which had a balcony. We loved that we could have our morning coffee and enjoy the beautiful views and listen to the waves. In the evenings, we could hear the music from the luau next door till about 9:30 pm. The location was walkable in just a few minutes into Lahaina for shopping, dining and the pier. Next door, was a small shopping center where you can find casual and fine dining. There is a private entrance around the corner of the pool area. You will need your room key to enter from the shopping area. Also from the pool/hot tub area is access to the beach. The beach has a few rocks so be sure to wear flip-flops or water shoes. The ocean water was not too cold. There was a concierge available during the day to help book activities during your stay. Parking was also available which made it easy to leave the car parked without having to worry about time/meter running out. This property was clean and well cared for and we plan to return during our next visit to Lahaina. …
