We picked here for the ambience and we were pleasantly surprised. The owner was gracious and so welcoming. The accommodations were quaint and clean, a 2 minute walk to the beach, inviting pool. Whilst we were only visiting for one night we would have been happy to stay longer. Would definitely recommend the Old Lahaina House to our friends.

One of the few accommodations actually in Lahaina, you can stroll into town (to the banyan tree) in 12 minutes. The proprietor, who lives on site, is super sweet and helpful, which leads to a convivial atmosphere among the guests. There is a full outdoor kitchen poolside. Guests grill fish, enjoy a beverage, and hang out. Our room (Riviera Room)...

On our first trip to Maui, & not wanting to stay in a large resort, we were looking for small, reasonably priced accommodation. This place is not a B&B (no breakfast), more like a homestay. If you like quirky, this place is definitely for you. Originally a grand, pink family residence that has seen better days (part of its charm),...

This place has seen better days. Horrible smells in room, old, worn down, junk cars out front, old refrigerator, broken windows, trash everywhere. It is nothing like the pictures posted. What a shame it may have looked like that at one time but poor upkeep costs customers.

I loved our stay here. It is one of our favorite trips ever. We stayed in the room at the top of the stairs with the mountain view. I loved the tropical birds waking us each morning. The pool is lovely. We plan on coming back for our anniversary coming up.

What a cute place, just a couple of meters from the beach. With few rooms and a small swimming pool and an outside area to hang out, this place has a very special and private atmosphere. Sherry the host makes it even nicer and knows everything about getting around on Maui.

Run fast, run far is my advice. This place was scary. There were dogs, cats and broken down automobiles in the lobby and yard. The lobby was dark. The pool while it was OK, had dirty lounge furniture that no one should sit on. I did not even want to see the rooms. Left quickly, forfeited our deposit and headed...

After being wrongfully accused of smoking and then being unceremoniously kicked out of our room at the Paki Maui, we landed here for our last night on the island. I am so sad that we did not find this little gem at the beginning of our stay. It is a great little house, away from the high rise, hustle and...

My husband, daughter and I just spend a wonderful few days tucked away in the Pool Suite at Old Lahaina House. It was fantastic to ditch the car and just wander into Lahaina at will. The beach access, just across the street, was tempting but I found it difficult to tear myself away from the tropical oasis surrounding the pool....

We loved our stay at the Old Lahaina House. While the place is a bit further out of town - roughly a ten minute walk from the centre, it is a beautiful secluded spot and we enjoyed the peace and quiet of true Lahaina living! Sherry was the ultimate host and welcomed us with Aloha. She was kind enough to...
