Clean, great location on the beach. Parking is the only complaint I have. Hard to find spots in the evening. Not to flexible either on late check outs. No good at the hotel what do ever do bring something to eat.
I was very happy that I was able to do my laundry while there nd when I returned it was smoother for me to put my clothes away and ready for the next trip. The location was close to the beach and clean and very professional.
What tropical location only has one air vent in an entire condo??? This one. We had 2 fans going also and were still hot. We were told that the AC was fine although it would never get below 73 degrees in our room. God forbid you use the dryer. It was an oven in the bathroom. We had to shut the door to not get any hotter in their. They only left us 3 towels for a 5 night stay. I know most places like that, that have a washer and dryer don't leave the full length of time worth of towels but 3 for 2 people for 5 days!! Also we were on the 6th floor and our room was infested with ants in the bedside table and in some of the cups in the cabinet. Not worth what you have to pay. The beach was closed this month still in May. I was not impressed. And I don't usually have that high of expectations for things but for what I paid I expected close to excellence.…
Condo 616 was excellent with the ocean and palm tree view. It was very clean, spacious and the host left us a very nice card for our anniversary. They provided a starter kit of necessities which was a nice touch. Elevators were close by and the staff at the front desk were very helpful and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this unit.
Average Condition Condo. Overrated at 4 Star. It's only a 3 Star at Best. We were shocked to see a Charge of $423.01 on Visa for a Departure Cleaning Charge! Totally a Rippoff. We haven't even left yet! We do or best to keep the Room Clean and Tidy and they Charged us that amount. We heard maybe a $250 dollar cleaning fee, but $423.01 Canadian is totally unjustified. Think Twice before you book this one.
We were a little surprised that there's a $250 extra charge for cleaning. Does the person doing the cleaning make that much per room? Probably not. On top of that if we wanted any extra towels we would have to pay for them which is really obnoxious. We booked through Costco sort of last minute so our choices were limited. The carpet in our room is really old and musty. I would not come back or recommend it to anyone. The a/c is still out as of late Feb but we were warned about that on booking and it didn't bother us. We have previously stayed at Kamole Sands in Kihei and wish we'd done the same this time.
My mother is old and wanted to save a little bit of money so we booked here it looked amazing everything seemed nice and perfect, once we got here there was a sign in the elevator that said no AC due to storms two months ago. I thought it meant in the elevator because that’s where the picture was, no they meant throughout the whole entire building in 80 to 90° weather my 70-year-old mother had to struggle to cool herself off. Meanwhile we’re sunburn from having a good day at the beach and no way to cool ass off when we get back. We wake up early to get out of the hotel or it’ll get too hot. This is more like a terrible Airbnb than a hotel. Also we requested help with the window so at least Eric can come through no one came up as of yet. So we have one small window to let the airflow through in the sliding glass. Front desk staff is really nice and they try and accommodate with what they have which isn’t much though. I wouldn’t recommend this place for anybody the pool is warm and that is not nice and hot weather. Only thing nice about it is the beach is right next to it but that also has a hazardous sign up.…
As others have stated the air conditioning did not work for the entire duration of our stay. I was informed of this only at the very last moment when it was too late to book an accommodation somewhere else. There was no hot water and the water was shut off completely as well as the electricity periodically during the 10-day stay. Every time I called the front desk I was told these were emergencies because water pipes were constantly braking in the building. The gym equipment was broken. There was only one working treadmill. The TV would periodically turn off by itself. The carpet and floor were filthy when we arrived and the bed sheets needed to be washed immediately. Every time I tried to contact the hotel manager on site I was always told he was not available. Don't waste your money and have this much stress on your vacation. Go somewhere / anywhere else.…
We booked expecting a moderate priced hotel experience based on price and reviews. We booked through Costco and this was the best option available as our preferred hotels were booked for the holiday season. The full kitchen and washer dryer are great options. The problems started at check in. The storms in November broke the air conditioner system and as a result there still is no air in any rooms when we checked in in late December. They did not notify us of this prior to arrival despite this being an issue for over a month. The answer from the staff to deal with it was to open your bathroom windows and the patio door. This provides some relief when there is a breeze but the room gets down to 77 at best. This would be bearable, even with the wind tunnel it creates, if not for the constant smell of marijuana being smoked by units on their patio despite this being a no smoking resort. The smell is constant, at all hours, including waking us up in the middle of the night, as we have to sleep with the patio door open to get to a reasonable temperature, and it leaves the entire unit smelling skunky. If you are going to require people to have windows open to be at a bearable temperature at least enforce your smoking rules to ensure everyone has an enjoyable experience. Pool is not heated and in the shade for most of the day so it is not really usable on an 80 degree day with water temp in the 60s. No access to a useable beach only compounds the disappointment. In hindsight I would have waited and booked one of the Westin resorts again in the same area. They cost a little more but the additional money is well spent. Save your money and yourself from aggravation by booking here.…
Stay away for this property!! Very limited choice of restaurants nearby. The front office at check in told us that the AC is broken for the whole building and are working on fixing it. It was never fixed till we left on 12/22. The windows/doors had to be open which caused wind howling issues in the night without proper rested sleep on our vacation.
