Overall the "resort" is plain-Jane; however the view is excellent. Turtles swam by at close range; dolphins and whales were visible at a distance. The Murphy beds are unsuitable for the disabled. My wife, who has cerebral palsy, found it difficult to get into and out of bed. The bed legs didn't lock into place. When we tried the bed it immediately collapsed. We used the hide-a-bed couch for the duration of our visit. It was fairly comfortable. The shower gets high marks for temperature, pressure, and coverage; however the sewer gasses coming from the toilet ruin the ambience. Parking is tight. The pool and hot tub are uninspiring. The room and resort were clean. Recommend the resort look into replacing the Murphy beds with regular queen size beds and updating the other furnishings.…
The genuine service and kindness we experienced at this resort was unparalleled. Preston was the guest service person who took care of our stay and he was phenomenal! We will definitely come back to Oahu and stay here again.
Fabulous resort. Murphy bed needs to be more comfortable but the unit and view were spectacular! The resort was very clean and responsive to all of our needs. The staff was uber friendly and we enjoyed the trip and resort very much! Don
My husband and I call this resort (I use the term resort loosely) “The Slums of Maui.” We tried to give this place a shot twice as we are timeshare owners and it was the only thing available at the time. Both times upon arrival the lobby staff was very rude and unwelcoming. The first time was miserable. While the view of the ocean was incredible, the studio was disgusting, lacking decor, cold and unwelcoming. The Murphy bed is painfully thin and uncomfortable. Every spring in the “mattress” could be felt. The bed came with a thin, flimsy blanket. Don’t get me started on the bathroom, it was filthy. Our second visit was even worse. We were once again barely acknowledged and experienced a frigid welcome in the lobby- a red flag signal for how poor our stay was going to be again. We told ourselves that although the rooms were garbage at least we could count on an amazing view. Wrong. Despite their claims that all rooms are ocean front- they aren’t. We were placed in another FILTHY studio that was facing the building to the right of “The Slums.” Instead of waking up and heading to the balcony to view the ocean, we woke up and headed to the balcony only to view our elderly neighbor stark naked on his balcony basking in the sun in the building facing us. Every.Single.Morning. The bathroom was beyond this time. There was black stuff all over the floor of the shower/tub. There was mold around the tub and the toilet had pubic hair on it. The glasses in the kitchen were dirty with fingerprints and even a lipstick stain on one. We went down to the lobby and begged for another room but the snob in the office wouldn’t even entertain the idea. Our timeshare stay was for 7 days but after only 2 days my husband and I were so fed up that we checked OUT and slept on my parents pull out couch at the Westin. Even being in a 1 bedroom suite with my parents and husband was a significantly better experience than spending another night in that sh*t hole.…
Very nice resort and enjoyed the ocean front room we were given. Not many amenities open and we were able to enjoy the hot tub onsite. Check-in was easy even though we had to call the neighboring resort which we had no problems. Very organized considering the circumstances. 1-bedroom was spacious and fully furnished for my husband and I. We had plenty of room and enjoyed sitting on the lanai every morning watching for whales. Very clean resort and would definitely like to return when everything is open again.
