Forget uber! The Maui Transit buses will take you to and from the airport for a $4.00 (usd) day pass which is good for unlimited transit travel anywhere on Maui all day for the day you purchase the day pass.

Like the first person to answer, I stayed in Puna II and don’t have info about PunaPoint - the front desk folks are very helpful. I would say that the Puna II building we were in was beautifully maintained, had great views, and was very quiet for the most part. The pool was nice and it was very close to a great hiking trail. I’d highly recommend it.
