My husband booked this resort as a surprise birthday gift for me, as I am the family travel planner I was a bit worried that this resort may not be what he thought it would be, WOW what an absolute surprise! Because our trip was all about relaxing this resort fit the bill perfectly, from the Swan court breakfast with...

I stayed at the Hyatt Regency Maui for two nights and had a wonderful time. Everyone was friendly and helpful and I had a restful stay. The Kaanapali area is great for walking and the Hyatt gym located at the ocean's edge was fantastic.

This is my home away from home. Great hotel, kid friendly, lovely settings and great room. What is the best is the service all over the resort. Great oceanfront resort, limited beach though. If you can stay on The Regency Club Level, staff second to none, they are all like family. Karen, Wanette, Keith, Sandy, Emily, Lisalani, Alana, all great....

My wife and I had a wonderful experience at the Hyatt. The deluxe ocean view was wonderful. The pools and slide are fun. However, there is no beach with lounge chairs, but you can take a towel on the beach to lay down. Both restaurants Pajango and Son'z Steakhouse are excellent. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The 5...

Still a great resort. The pools, landscaping and common areas are all well maintained. The rooms are large and comfortable. The staff is friendly and efficient. Restaurants are varied. The daily breakfast at Swan Court is worth the cost.

We have been coming to this hotel for past few years. Last year there was a lot of construction going on to build there new time share. The new property is beautiful and no construction was going on this time. We were very well treated as always. This time they upgraded our room and even surprised us with cheese-fruit platter....

The Staff were very friendly & helpful. The rooms were quiet, spacious, comfortable and had a lovely view, despite only being a partial ocean view. Lovely pools & saunas. Right on the beach. The hotel was full, but it never felt overcrowded.

Stayed 3 days at the Hyatt with my wife and kids (5&7). The kids enjoyed the waterfalls, grotto, wooden bridge and pool area as well as hanging out with the parrots, penguins and feeding the koi fish. Rooms are a bit dated and water pressure in the shower was low, but rooms had adequate space for us. Don't know if...

Our biggest ‘problem’ with the Hyatt Regency Maui is we arrived after staying five nights at the AMAZING Grand Hyatt Kauai. It’s an unfair comparison. And no contest. But scrape the words ‘Resort and Spa’ off this Ka’anapali Beach monstrosity, and you’ve got yourself an honest depiction. It’s a big, BUSY, full-service beachside hotel that serves its demanding, well-heeled, cell-phone-yakking...
