At first we just wanted to walk on the beach in Kaanapali. But after having walked by the impeccable grounds, the inviting POOLS (yes, pools!! beautifully laid out, with rock formations - with slides, waterfalls, bridges you can swim under, shallow parts for kids and waders and a bar you can swim up to!), we just HAD to, had to!...

Myself and my new husband came here to start the Hawaiian part of our honeymoon and we were not disappointed! We arrived at the hotel at 9:50 and with check in not being until 4 pm we were a bit at a loss as to what to do, we spoke to hotel services who said we were more than welcome...

If you're going here on your honeymoon I suggest staying here, this place provides the best service. The only con is that the beach is really small buts that okay! The resort is absolutely beautiful. Everyday my husband and I would come to a clean room.

Great beach, soft sand, short walk to water. Pools are crowded but poolchair food and beverage service is pretty good. Valet parking is $20 per day. Pick up your welcome package (Hyatt shopping bag with chocolates) on your way to your room; no need to book the Hyatt Residence tour they try to entice you to book.

The service and way we were greeted was what pleased me. We had been on a 3 week retreat on the other side of Maui, and were in old clothes, very grubby, but bright eyed and looking forward to our days at the Hyatt. After our shower and change, no one could recognize us. Thank heaven! A friend from home...

Amazing place for kids! Best pool on Maui.. Swim up Cave Bar, waterfalls, clean room, best continental breakfast buffet, private cabanas, fast waterslide. Our kids were never bored. The beach was a bit narrow and swimming in ocean wasn't the best there.

We have fantastic views and the room was big and comfortable. Service was great and staff were all very helpful. The pool was awesome and there we had no trouble finding deck chairs near the pool. Lovely spot

This Hyatt property is amazing. From the welcome greeting at the front desk, complete with leis, to the beautiful oceanfront room, to watching the Penguins feeding each morning at 9:30 AM, to the great poolside bar, this was luxury. Not all Hyatts are the same. This one is five star. The property is home to many shops and restaurants. High...

My husband and I stayed at this property for our 10 year wedding anniversary and had an OK experience. Had to change rooms because we did not have hot water for a day. Once we changed to another room, we had to complain because we were waking up in the morning with mosquito or some other bug bites. Service was...

Prices where fairly high but i guess thats normal for such a place. They have a shuttle going to lahaina that costs 2 dollars each way. Good and cheap way...

There wasn't any construction when we were there the final week of June. The time share condos next door (Hyatt Residences) are finished so no noise from that side either. But do be mindful that the daily luau show is held just outside of the smaller building and you can hear it from your room each night from around 6 to 8 pm - Polynesian music, loud drums, host on the microphone, etc.

Our room actually has two refrigerators. Looks like they have removed the honor bar and left the mini frig. There is also the regular mini frig. No bottle opener or corkscrew though.

Nothing is said you are suppose to tip. BUT TIPPING is quite important to the workers at the hotel. They do work for their living and it is better to tip than not to. Keep in mind, we should all tip the housekeeping staff that cleans up after you everyday. We tipped and they were so appreciative; pay forward and share, it's a good thing!

We had the deluxe ocean view king room and had a lovely view of the ocean and you can definitely see the other island in the distance across the ocean from this view. The beach itself is nice but small (perfect for us and less busy) at the Hyatt but a short walk down the path through the resorts will take you to the Black Rock area of Kaanapali beach.
