This was a great vacation. The guests with whom we shared our stay were interesting and interested in each other. The Northwest, Canada and the East Coast (Connecticutt, Maryland, New York) were prominent points of origin. We share our two bedroom unit with two grandkids, ages 7 and 9, and their Mom. The room was great, with a nice deck,...

I totally agree with negative comments we were ground level and we looked at a wall with hydro meters. No air are you serious. We stayed two nights and tried to find a better place. Carpets stained, mini blinds should be in the garbage dump. I would never go back

Accommodation was nice and comfortable. Pool and Jacuzzi were great. Remember this is quite a windy part of Maui, and we found that getting your sun bathing in before the winds come up in the early afternoon. Nice beaches if that's what you like close by. Only negative for me (and this could be a personal thing) is that there...

My family did a timeshare exchange here. It was a two bedroom condo that sleeps six. However, it really is a king in the master and two twin beds in the second bedroom. The place was older and not fancy. If you are looking for a resort experience stay in Wailea, Kapalua or Kaanapali. The condo had a great view...

The Maui Beach Club lists no air conditioning on its short amenity list. Fortunately there are strong winds in Kihei that cool things down. Not so good in an older building with only louvered windows [when did builders give up on those?] and those vertical window coverings that are a series of 3” by 84” panels that decorators gave up...

This condo was a great place to stay and convenient to excursions (as a majority of the ones we went on were not far from Kihei.) Great restaurants in Kihei, however, this location does not have any within walking distance. Air conditioning would be nice to have and the walkway/elevator are by the bedroom, which sometimes gets a little loud....

In a rush to book a hotel for a combination business/vacation trip to Maui, I only checked one review site before booking this place. Huge mistake! This place is dreary, run down, and dirty. It is located in a poor location (i.e. sketchy) on S. Kihei Road where there are few restaurants and few other tourist amenities (stay at the...

Aloha, Neil. We are surprised to read your characterization of us as dreary and run down. We have undergone comprehensive guest room enhancements, which include new living room and bedroom furniture, reupholstered sofa sleepers, new kitchen appliances, and updated artwork. Please accept our apology for the housekeeping challenges. The issues you cite fall well below our standards, and it is...

Great accommodations right across from the ocean. Less than 35 minutes from just about everything. Would highly recommend especially during whale season. However, does lack one small essential for those humidity conscious Easteners, no air conditioning; at night the ceiling fans along with the smooth island breeze provide exceptional comfort. We still give Maui Beach Vacation Club Resort 4 1/2...

This Resort is in a good location, but it is an older Resort. When we were there the elevator broke down leaving guests to walk walk up 3 flights of stairs. We felt lucky to have secured a "later than usual" exchange into this Maui resort. I had read the reviews and prepared for the worse, just feeling fortunate that we would be there. At first, we thought "this is so-so and not horrible". Then the resort and room started growing on us. These are the pros: the location is good,...
