This complex is right next to Kamaole Beach II in Kihei. The location is perfect for doing anything on Maui. The sun is on your lanai all day - great for watching people, whales, waves. All the units have ocean views, it is quiet and the owners/operators are very friendly. We first stayed there over New Years 2006. The unit... More

2 adults/2 kids returning for our 6th time in the same unit - #102. We're used to the street noise and prefer the ground floor/back location. We actually thought this year the street noise was quieter than we've heard in the past. #102 is a bit more private since you're not right infront of the pool and you don't have... More

We stayed here last year and liked it so much we spent a little more money then we wanted to so we could stay here again this year. It’s true it is an older building and it does show a little bit, but the location is GREAT and so is the view!! The beach is right out front and has... More

I'm giving this a low score due to the unit itself (105) which is in dire need of upgrades. The entire condo, however, is older but in a great location and some of the units have been upgraded to really nice, clean vacation rentals. I would suggest asking upon inquiries if the unit you are looking at has been updated... More

We stayed here for 2 week in August and found it a great place. Basic snorkling in front of the property and the beach is good. Lots of food options within walking distance. Will go again!

We traveled with other family members who were also at the Kamaole Nalu, and for a first experience on Maui, we couldn't have been happier. While the property shows its' age(backing on the drapes in Master bedroom seemed to rub off and leave bits all over the floor overnight, to gaps in the window frames in the same bedroom patched... There's no better place on Maui! We stay in Unit 105 at Kamaole Nalu EVERY YEAR! Ground floor is perfect to let our kids run on the lawn as well as have the pool right in front of the unit for them to enjoy endlessly! The beach (two, actually) is steps away and perfect for children. With restaurants and a... More

We have been coming to Maui for 24 years, and have stayed at the Kamaole Nalu at least 10 times. The location can't be beat as it is right on the beach and has a wonderful grass area with pool if you don't want the sand. It is central to everything, and you can walk practically everywhere. This year we... More

My wife and I finally decided to get married, and to do it on Maui. We researched online for several months for accomodations, and finally found the Nalu's site. I was impressed by the site, and how it shows the rooms individually. I called to ask for some information, and received an information packet in the mail with a Maui... More

We stayed in #505 for a week in August - with two bedrooms, two bathrooms and everything we could want for a comfortable Hawaiian condo. It was a great size for a couple and teenage son (and the internet connection was appreciated). It could accomodate 2 couples, although one bedroom has a great view and the sound of crashing waves...
