The room was good for sleeping, nothing spectacular, but I would stay there again. This was good for the price during COVID. I know that staying anywhere would be a challenge especially during this time.
You get what you pay for. There are a lot nicer hotels around. This is on a Motel 6 level. Very small rooms, musky smell. Does have A/C though which worked well. We had an ocean view room, but really no room faces the ocean. If we peeked our head around we could see a bit of the ocean but window was filthy. There is an all you can eat buffet. All Chinese food. It was expensive at $26 not very good. The beds were comfortable. I would recommend an overnight for an early flight, but other than that, i wouldn't stay here again.
Maui Beach is a very fine hotel. They have always treated me with such Aloha. Mahalo ui loa for your Pono. I would definitely recommend this place. Please show them some love in return by cleaning up as best as you can before you check out to make it easier for the cleaners. Thank you.
Gentleman working the front desk helped me out a lot, I was stuck in a bad situation with last-minute changes happening and he did everything possible to make things right. Even helped me get to the airport. The ocean/courtyard view was also beautiful!
Do not use their "deals". I used the 1 night with free Alamo rental car. Rental was never reserved, (luckily I had a back up rental reserved) . Manager offered an ocean front, nicer room and $50 off for rental error (she stated it was a 3rd party who is running their website reservations). I only received $30 refund and the "nicer" room was filthy. Very dated corduroy couches were sticky, lamp between beds smelled of urine, dead bugs on window seal and floor. I hate to see what the original no view room I had reserved looked like.
