The owners have thought of everything from outdoor shower to fully stocked kitchen, to fruit and herbs from their garden, to a hammock with a drop dead view to the ocean. Quiet, very clean, perfectly private. Didn't take advantage of the massage on the property, but will next time. You cannot go wrong with this property. We loved it.

We had a wonderful, relaxing weekend at the Kapia Stream Retreat. We really appreciated the view of the ocean from the deck, the peaceful setting, the welcome basket with delicious fruit and banana bread, and the convenient location between Hana and Kipahulu. We cooked up tasty dinners each night with local fruits and veggies from Mana Foods in Paia, veggies...

We had a lovely time at Hana Paradise cottages when we visited Hana a couple of weeks ago. The cottages are very well maintained and the hosts make sure that you have a comfortable stay. The house was nicely done before we reached the place. They had also placed a basket of ripe (and fragrant) fruit from their garden on...

This was a great little place. Clean, in the heart of Hana right near the black and red sand beaches and not far from the national park, everything we wanted in a place. It even had a little welcome fruit basket when we got there. We had some fun catching and putting the gekos that found our room back outside...

Lovely 3 day stay here with my husband. This cottage is only maybe a mile from hamoa beach and has a gorgeous view of the ocean from each of the large windows that span the entire east side of the home (you can watch the sunrise over the ocean without even leaving bed). This property is meticulously maintained by the...

My husband and I were lucky enough to stay at the Bamboo Cottage for 3 nights this past January. We had stayed in Kihei for about 5 days prior and could feel ourselves relaxing more and more the closer we got to beautifully lush Hana. The Bamboo Cottage was perfect. I loved all of the little details: fresh fruit upon...

Our second time here at the Bamboo Cottage...we were here for a fabulous week in Nov. 2010 also. Now, another week respite in April. Simply a perfect vacation experience for those of us who treasure waking up with birds singing quietly, the sound of amazing Hamoa Beach a mile away calling to you, fresh fruit and vegetables galore....and hosts who...

Beautiful little cottage that gets you away from the resorts. A good place to unwind for a few days. Many said they only stayed 2 days and wished they had stayed more. We stayed 10 nights which was too long. (It should be noted that Wendy the owner warned us that we might find 10 days to be too long...

We came to Maui for the holidays and wanted to explore the Road to Hana and other side of the island. We loved every moment and had a hard time going back to the other side of the island. We want to return to the Hana paradise cottage and stay for an entire week before we hit our timeshare on...

Our last 3 nights of our 13 night stay on Maui was spent at the Bamboo Cottage in Hana. After staying in Kaanapali and then Kihei to arrive at the Bamboo Cottage in Hana and stand for a moment hearing no traffic, no fans or blowers, no people was absolute heaven. What you could hear were the birds singing, the...

“Quiet, remote and beautiful. Great way to spend a couple of relaxing days. We enjoyed the drive on the road to Hana. Glad we didn't have to turn around and drive back on the same day. We took the road all around the island. The back side was so beautiful and remote! Do not drive if fear of heights and narrow roads!”

“We stayed in the Hale Nanea cottage, which was lovely. Be aware that it is going to be very warm and humid in this area though. This was such a clean and lovely cottage - we enjoyed it!”
