We had a great stay here in the Taro Room. Patrick was a great host The room was private and quiet, with a nice front porch for guest use. We could walk to the grocery store and all the little food shops, as well as the Wrangler Steak house across the street. Good location near the Canyon. The room was... More

The first thing to know about this place is that it is basically a house that has been converted into a hotel. It's not a "typical" hotel. Patrick and the other staff were quite helpful and went out of their way for a variety of things for me. Patrick was also knowledgable and gave good advice about things to do.... More

Me and the wife had a excellent stay here! We stayed in the Taro room, and it was just Perfect. Great price-point and it has all that you need. Short walk distance to the very small town area - With some good places to eat, small shops and some good markets. Short drive to all the beautiful Mountains - Waimea... More

We stayed in the beach cottage across the street from the main building of the inn. It was cozy and nicely decorated to feel homey. The location is great! Lots of places to walk to and eat. Patrick recommended activities that were appropriate to our interests and our 1 year old son and we had a blast. Definitely would recommend... More

The inn is very cute and Patrick was a great source of information for visiting the area. We stayed in the taro room on the first floor for two night and we were lucky the second floor was empty as the floors creak loudly. The shower is nice and big but the shower curtain needs to be changed and the... More

Aloha Karl and mahalo for your feedback. It was good to get to know you during your trip to our piece of paradise and glad to hear you had a great time. As for the cleaning suggestions, thank you for this. Recently, we had an atypical situation in that 2 of our 3 housekeepers were unavailable for a month. This... More

My husband and I choose this B&B based on the reviews we had read AND the location. We knew we only had 2.5 days is Kauai as part of our Hawaii trip and knew we definitely wanted to be up near the canyon so we choose this Inn. Although close to the canyon this part of Kauai is also considered... More

This is not for the Inn, but for the Ishihara Cottage that is also owned by the Inn. It is a huge rustic plantation style house in a neighborhood that is very airy and comfortable. had great facilities for cooking in and an incredible deck to sit on with one of the best views you can get in Waimea. It... More

This quaint cottage style house was located on the western part of Kauai, Hi. Its a good location if you want to explore this side of the island w/o having to travel back to the north shore or the eastern part. its a very basic place that is easily accessible, comfortable and quiet.

Since we didn’t want to stay in a big resort hotel, we decided to stay in this small inn and explore the West and South coast from there. We had booked the very affordable Taro Room that is located on the 1st floor for three nights. The room is big which served us very well and the shower is huge.... More

My husband and I stayed here to be close to Port Allen Harbor - it was much more convenient than fighting the traffic on the east side of the island, plus the south shore tends to be sunnier. The Inn has a great location - it's a block off the highway and close enough to walk to restaurants, the grocery... More

Mahalo for the feedback! For the record, Waimea Town is a small touch sunnier than Poipu. Most like the sun on their trip. These guests stayed two nights; arriving later Friday and leaving Sunday. Saturday was my son's first birthday and I was on this special occasion not in the office. Housekeeping was here for any needs. We are glad... More
