I booked this expecting an okay stay for the price compared to the other condos in the area which were up to 600-700 dollars a night. Wow was I surprised this resort is gorgeous and boasts wonderful views of the pacific in a laid back fmily oriented atmosphere. Our family of 6( teenage and college age children)were more than comfortable...

We had a four night stay at this property in July 2013. We were on the 2nd floor of building 9 which is at the east end of the resort. We experienced courteous and professional service at check-in and that was repeated with every staff member we encountered. The property is beautifully landscaped and well maintained. The main pool is...

Decent enough rooms, except that the carpet in our bedroom stayed moist the entire week. The third day they did give us a carpet blower which helped during the day, but each morning the carpet was damp again. We had 2 2 bedroom units. I had requested that the second bedrooms in each have the beds split into 2 twins....

Kauai is the fourth Hawaiian island I've had the pleasure of visiting. I just love the Hawaiian vibe, culture, and of course the endless natural beauty and photographic opportunities. Poipu is much sunnier than the North Shore, and not as touristy as the East Shore. This resort has beautiful landscaping, and our room was on the end of the second-floor...

Overall our week here has been very good. But Diamond Resorts seems to believe that this is a total 5 star resort and brags that it's the best in Poipu. After exploring some others (Hyatt, Marriott) I would say they are truly 5 star and this is a bit under, probably 4.5, but not the top. Here's was we thought...

The Point at Poipu is a good location to use as a base to start your explorations of the island. It is not on par with the Grand Hyatt or the Westin in the north point. But if you're looking for a place to unwind in a comfortable surrounding, the Point is a good choice. The property is undergoing significant...

Thank you for your review. We would like to assure you that we try to keep the disturbance levels caused by the maintenance works to an absolute minimum, nevertheless, we are of course very sorry for any inconvenience which may have been caused. We hope that you had an otherwise pleasant stay, however, and that you may decide to pay...

We had a very nice, relaxing vacation here at the point. They have several activities/crafts throughout the day for children. My 14 year old daughter loved them all. The grounds are beautiful. Make sure you walk to the ocean edge to see the turtles. Throughout the day they were always there, after 3:00 though we would see 6+ turtles out...

Traveling to anywhere in Hawaii is an experience well worth doing. Over the years the bar has been set higher and higher for luxury hotels, and Diamond Resorts tries very hard to keep up with the high end of that standard. Usually, they're successful. Some years ago you'd be hard pressed to find a nicer place to stay than the...

I asked for an ocean view which I did get from the balcony and an end unit upper floor Building 10. It was very quiet and you could keep the doors open and let the breeze run through for natural air conditioning. Birds came to visit every morning because of our toast crumbs and our 10 year old granddaughter just...
