Stayed here for 4 nights in a deluxe oceanfront room. Highly recommend this resort. Friendly staff, great location! Great place for couples, as it's not really a kid friendly resort. Feels secluded, even though it's sandwiched between the Sheraton and Marriott properties. Truly a relaxing...More
The Koa Kea offers a beautiful property and peaceful open atmosphere. Despite it being “spring break” week, the resort was filled with mostly adults and there was always a nice spot open by the pool. The oceanfront suites have the best patio view imaginable and...More
We loved staying at the Koa Kea resort. The beachfront location is great and various shops and restaurants are within walking distance. The resort itself is peaceful, relaxing, and everyone who works there is friendly. We will definitely come back! One wish: more gluten-free +...More

The rooms are lovely, we're so glad we went ocean front, was so nice to sit on the lanai and see and hear the waves.

I loved the personal feel of this chic, understated boutique hotel and super friendly staff. The rooms and bathrooms are nicely renovated and the location in front of the beach is great. The breakfast is fantastic, lobster eggs benedict did not disappoint! The pool staff...More

Hello, we had the full ocean view from room 348. It was a lovely suite with 2 patios. It rained for part of our stay but we still loved just relaxing with the door open watching the waves. The pool is small but adequate for adults. Nothing for kids there and it’s not a party scene. We loved the staff, the amenities and the spa. The Aloha ritual couples massage was out of this world! There was a mini fridge in the room and nexpresso coffee maker. We stocked up with fresh juice up the road at Kauai juice and that was great. If you’re going to the beach elsewhere, the valets will set you up with towels and umbrella. The beach just out front is great for swimming and light snorkeling or surfing. Also the Red Salt restaurant on site is fantastic! Don’t miss the sushi bar on Saturday night.

We were there for five days this month and we only had four total hours of sunshine the entire trip. It literally rained the entire time and was quite cool. Bring long sleeves and rain gear. We travelled the entire island by car and was raining everywhere we went. Embrace the weather, don’t let it spoil your plans and remember, its known as the Garden Island for a reason!
