Most of the units have a great view of the ocean , palm trees, grassed grounds and beautiful sunrises. The pool while nothing fancy is lovely, warm, and deep. The beach is not swimming friendly but many navigate the coral ridges and a few bold ones snorkel if they can past it. We love this place where you can walk...

My girlfriends and I were here a few days ago. A gorgeous view, weather was right and our first floor unit gave us easy access just steps from the ocean. It was nice to unwind at the end of the night while we sat in the lounge chairs lining the waters edge. There is no a/c, however we did not...

This was our first stay at the Kapaa Shores, previously stayed at the Pono Kai just down the Hwy., but there as no vacancy for April so decided to try Kapaa Shores. We have a time-share with Vacation International but they have only a few units in each building. When we walked into our suite in Building A, room 204,...

We arrived late in the evening and were greeted warmly by the woman on the front desk. We were soon set up in our unit and not long afterwards happily sawing logs. The next morning I awake early to the beginnings of a glorious sunrise looking from our lanai , across the pool and out to the endless ocean. It...

We booked a 3rd floor condo not through a timeshare. It is ocean facing and wonderful. Within days we booked the same condo for the next year. Its not fancy, we aren't fancy people. No A/C but don't need A/C and most place on Hawaii don't have A/C. Love the location. Love access to the walking/biking path right out the...

That's right the units have no AC, I shouldn't need to continue after that. All that is provided is 1 fan to keep you cool. The room service and house keeping is non existent. My entire 7 day stay came with no room service or daily cleaning. If I needed new towels or anything I had to go to the...

We booked this unit through a Diamond International Resort trade. This place was pretting nice over all. I must say that it was also pretty dated and sort of worn in areas. But the place was clean and the pool was well kept. The other downside was the fact that there was no air conditioning or elevators in the units....

Kappa Shores isn't fancy, nor does it pretend to be. The rooms are clean and comfortably furnished. If you want 4 star quality, and a swimming beach outside your door - KS is not the place. If you want plenty of space, and ocean views that will remind you that you are in a tropical paradise, KS is a good...

Our Family of 4 stayed 1 week at Kapaa Shores in March 2013 - we booked through our Vacation International Timeshare. Great location, close to Safeway for grocery shopping, close to tons of restaurants, close to the bike path along the beach - very central on the Island of Kauai. The suite had renovated bathrooms, very clean, we did have...

This is our second time here and we have a middle floor unit looking out to the ocean. Suite is well laid out but unfortunate the bedrooms have to face the parking lot. If there are only two of you use the Murphy bed and listen to ocean waves instead as it faces yard and ocean. Doves come and visit...
