Overall a nice resort. The staff is very friendly. The grounds are very clean and well kept. The room we stayed in was in the Ocean tower with an ocean view. Great view we had our breakfast on our balcony most mornings it was wonderful. The room is a bit dated, but very clean and comfortable. The lagoon was the...

This resort is situated on the Kohala coast in Waikoloa. It is incredibly family friendly and offers a variety of activities throughout the sprawling grounds. There are amazing pools, water slides, dolphins, miniature golf, a lagoon for snorkeling and paddle boating, not to mention the spa and numerous restaurants. We love this resort and we come back every visit to...

My wife and I recently stayed at the wonderful Hilton Waikoloa Village Resort. We stayed in the Makai Section of the resort which provided additional resort benefits. The hotel rooms were clean, spacious, well appointed, quite, and very comfortable. The ocean views from our balcony was breathtaking. We could see the ocean, pools, and the dolphin lagoon. The resort staff...

You would think that will the cost of the rooms, they would be up to date with modern amenities. The room we were in was old and tired, tiny refrigerator, terrible coffee with non-dairy creamer, a couch that sank in the middle, old rug, old wall paper. On top of that, every tiny extra thing they could charge for they...

Right up front I should say that this really big style of hotel is not our usual choice. We decided to try it out for our tween because of the lagoon and amenities. The staff were amazing. We checked in after midnight our time - grumpy - and the front desk clerk Frank had us laughing and smiling. Very professional...

I've been going there 2 - 3 times a year since 2001. This property, employees, food, activities, views, dolphins, pools, spa, tennis courts are by far the best I have visited. I've been to Austria, France, Monte Carlo, and most everyone of our states nothing compares. (Okay the Mediterranean view from my balcony in Monte Carlo was fabulous) I've traveled...

This property is massive and beautiful. Very well suited for families with children. Their lagoon is awesome with excellent and safe snorkeling options. You can rent boats etc at the lagoon. The facility is well maintained. Our kids enjoyed the pool, tram, lagoon etc. They have dolphins and it's fun to watch them play around. The service was disappointing though....

For those who prefer a Hawai'i experience to embody Hawai'i, offer exceptional customer service, amazing views, and upscale accommodations, there are price-competitive resorts in the area who believe in and exhibit the true spirit of Aloha. In its glory days, this property was a destination...
