After reading all the reviews here, we decided to book Unit 19G through Kohala Coast Properties. They were very easy to work with via phone and emails, all the way from the initial inquiry to our final departure. Very responsive and organized. We had some concern about Unit 19G being so far from the pool and restaurant. It is located...

My family of five stayed in Unit 17A, a second floor end unit near the pool area. The units are all relatively new. This particular unit's décor is Asian minimalist, with heavy wood cabinets and cupboards as focal points in each room. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed, walk-in closet, a huge bath with a separate rooms for the...

This is a beautiful property to stay at. Good access to Queens park mall and has a lovely pool and gym that overlooks the sea. There is no sea access from this property as it is surrounded by rocks but not far to drive.

The property and our condo were beautiful and extremely well maintained. My girlfriend and I wanted a resort where we could grill a steak and drink a glass of wine on our patio while over-looking the ocean. This resort was perfect! If you are looking for a perfect laid back way to experience the big island I highly recommend this...

Located about 30 minutes north of Kailua-Kona, but worth the drive. The grounds are beautifully kept, the staff are friendly and very helpful. The unit we booked was a one bedroom, two bath (on accident, my error when booking). When we arrived, they upgraded us at our request (and hope) to a two bedroom, three bath, and kept our resort...

When I got off the plane in Hawaii I was a little disappointed by all the lava - then we got to our condo. The grounds are beautiful, well manicured and serene. The pool is a nice place to cool off but not deep at all. The condo we stayed in was very clean and had all the necessities we...

My favorite place on the Kohala coast! Beautiful property. Friendly and exceptional service in every employee there. The husband and I refer to Halii Kai as our "happy place." Looking forward to our annual pilgrimage to the lovely, friendly place known as Halii Kai.

Hali'i Kai is an amazing property, with luxurious and well appointed villas. The property is secured and the grounds are beautifully maintained. The front desk staff is very helpful, answered questions and provided extra laundry detergent. There are hammocks in the garden area where you can relax, or chill by the pool overlooking the blue ocean and watch some of...

We arrived around 11pm so we had to let ourselves in because the front desk closes at 8. Luckily someone had just came through the gate before us or we would have been locked out because the code they gave us didn't work. We got to our room and it was not clean and looked like someone was still staying...

Amazing value! The Apartment we stayed, 17E, was modern, clean as can be, well equipped with fast WiFi, large flat screen TVs in every bedroom, dishes and utensils in the kitchen. The grounds were immaculately kept, the pool was big, relaxing and beautifully located right by the ocean and never crowded. Towel service was included by the pool, and the...
