Our room was very spacious and felt like a home. From our balcony we could see the sunset, which was made more beautiful by the vog. The pool was nice, and right next to the bar and restaurant. Humpback whales could be seen spouting and breaching. One of the staff members, Pua, was just lovely, and always made a point...

Our family of 4 stayed in 17B for 7 nights. Ground floor unit less than 5 min walk from the health club which has pool, gym and dining facilities. We spotted many whales just sitting in the club, they are rather far away but still a thrill for us. Bring a pair binoculars to get a good view. The unit...

What an exceptional property! Bottom floor unit facing #7 of Waikoloa Beach Course and oceanview, this two BR two Bath unit was well equipped and very comfortable. At the end of the cul-de-sac next to the pools and bar, a very short walk compared to unit 1 at far end of street. Shopping, restaurants and entertainment, along with two resort...

We stayed in unit 11a, which was in very good shape. We were originally assigned a different unit that had a bad review, so we called and asked to see photos of the unit. After a few phone calls where we indicated our level of trepidation was high enough for us to consider cancelling and rebooking elsewhere, we were reassigned...

We really enjoyed our stay in unit 24D at Halii Kai. The unit was clean and easily fit two teenagers and two adults. The complex is very quiet and secure so you can send the kids out on their own with no worries. Most of the units have no views. The pool and bar area were great with phenomenal views...

We stayed in unit 9E with an ocean view and a golf course view. It was a beautiful, newer unit. The condo was comfortable for 5 adults. The pool/hot tub/restaurant/bar were wonderful with polite and helpful, friendly staff. The property was more quiet than a typical resort, but a quick walk along the beautiful rocky sea shore and you can...

We just returned to the Boston area last night after spending two incredible weeks in Hali'i Kai Unit 14C. The condo was well stocked: The owners have thought of everything. For example, we thought we saw some dolphins offshore and wondered if there were binoculars in the sports closet...and yes, they were! (and yes, they have a full sports closet!)...

This is the second time we have rented a 2/2 condo at this resort. Both times it was oceanfront and this last rental was 13D which was an end unit in the first building but located farthest from the pool. We used the lovely lanai morning and night and never heard noise from the pool or even the musicians playing....

The resort itself is beautiful, however this unit 19c is in horrible shape. The carpet is filthy dirty with stains, the walls have nicks, gouges and black smears over the entire unit. The living room couch is completely worn out and is very uncomfortable to sit on. The master bed is also completely worn out. I complained to the front...
