If you are going to be visiting the Big Island, I highly recommend Waikoloa Beach Marriott Resort. When we checked in, Debbie took such great care of us! Her bubbly personality and willingness to take care of us made the start of our vacation less stressful. Every time we passed the front desk, she would acknowledge us and see how we...

Our stay here was all too brief. It preceded our need to be another place on the island but the rooms were comfortable, the facilities were plush and the saltwater pool made it all worth while. Not a big pool person normally because of the excessive amounts of chlorine used, I found myself in the pool all the time.

My partner and I were trying to do Hawaii on a budget and found a great deal for the Marriott through Hotwire at $115 per night, without it we wouldn't have been able to stay there. Our reservation for 5 nights in a standard garden view was upgraded to a pool view and we could see the bay beyond that...

The location is about 30-40 minutes from the Kona airport, seemingly in the middle of a barren lava field, but once you get closer it's like an oasis, surrounded by 2 nice shopping centers, as well as several good restaurants that are less expensive than the Hotel, where we paid $20 for a sandwhich- albeit a good one. We were...

We visited this resort 20 years ago when it was know as the Royal Waikoloa, so we were really impressed with the changes over the years and the many owners. The rooms are the same, a bit small but fresh and nicely done. The hotel itself meanders and it can be a hike to find your way. The warm water...

Everything about our stay at was good. The hotel and the grounds were very nice. Our weather was not great, but the beach (when we could use it) was just a short walk from the hotel. The pool area was also nice. Our friends had two kids, 2 and 4, and there is a little sandy pool which was very...

This is a Marriott so the standards are what you would expect at an upscale Marriott Hotel, and this does not disappoint. However the building is old, the hallways look their age, but the rooms have been recently updated and the is a plus, but were surprisingly small. The food, was pricey but good and the drinks were outrageously expensive...

My husband and I spent 5 nights at the Waikoloa Beach Mariott recently .We booked there because it was more reasonably priced than the other resorts. We read mostly positive reviews and some negative ones. One of the negatives was about dirty, worn carpet. We never saw any dirty worn carpet. We were very happy with everything at this hotel....

We stayed at the Marriott Waikoloa for 1 week in February. The kids loved the many pools and slide and the grounds were gorgeous and well kept. We also loved being right off of the beach as we went for many long walks and did some snorkelling. The two adjoining rooms we had were very clean and comfortable. The food,...

We moved to the Marriott Waikoloa after spending three nights at the Hilton Waikoloa. We stayed at the Hilton for a hotel conference, but decided to move to the Marriot due to its affordability. I am so glad we moved to this hotel! This hotel is the perfect size to get that resort feel, yet small enough that it doesn't...
