Kilauea Lodge is a unique place to stay, the rooms are unique and comfortable, the staff is friendly and efficient and the restaurant is fantastic. We highly recommend it for a family visit or a couples escape.

The lodge was clean, comfortable and well maintained. The room had nIce amenities- robes, heated bath towels and bottled drinking water. The public area had a fire place, TV and board games. Janet was very helpful at checkin. Would stay here again.

This is a gem of a place to stay! There are so many small, and big touches that make it an exceptional get away. The grounds are lush and beautiful-many varieties of antheriums, ferns and fragrant ginger. There are many amenities in the room that add to the welcoming ambience including great bath products, heater (we didn't need but would if we were travelling during the cooler months) comfortable beds with ample extra blankets if needed, beautiful mugs to have the good coffee/hot chocolate in that was left for guests to brew... The office and gift shop staff were very friendly and helpful!

We stayed overnight in order to visit the Volcano park. We had a lovely room (first room was very noisy but they did move us to another quieter room). The room had everything you need. We also had dinner in their restaurant. There was a problem in the kitchen so the service was a little slow but the food was delicious.

Lovely hotel. In a superb position, minutes from the park bit close to local stores and shops. Rooms are large and well equipped. Comfortable bed, great shower pressure, free tea and coffee in room. Had dinner in the restaurant which was very special.

Great location as a base to visit volcano as only a 5 minute drive. Our room we large, comfortable and had everything we needed for a 2 night stay. Appreciated the coffee machine and fridge in the room. The restaurant was closed for breakfast on Monday and Tuesday of our visit, however dinner was excellent.

This was our third time at this property and we will continue to keep coming back when we visit Volcano! Aloha is the middle name of everyone on staff! The amenities of the hot tub, great restaurant, gorgeous grounds, peacefulness, and proximity to Volcanoes National Park is why we keep coming back.

We had a quick little trip to this fantastic and cute lodge. The service and property made us feel so at home with how kind and comfortable our stay was. Such a great place to stay when traveling to visit the Volcano. It was super easy to check in and out as well as a perfect spot to have a lovely dinner. There are also all kinds of fun, enjoyable, and adventurous hikes to do at the National park just right around the corner. Thank you so much for making our stay great, Janet ! It is very much appreciated. We hope to be back soon.

My partner and I were encouraged to dine at Kilauea Lodge after being disappointed with our food at Volcano House for Father’s Day dinner. We were both really disappointed with the tasteless food. The staff were great. The ambiance was ok. The presentation of the food was beautiful but unfortunately the seafood risotto and the fresh catch didn’t taste like much of anything.
