We spent three enjoyable nights here, while visiting with family and touring Hawaii Volcanoes National Park and other natural wonders. Ira's Artist Cottage is perfect for a single or a couple who want a quiet comfortable place to relax after a busy day of touring. The four person outdoor jacuzzi around the corner from the front door of the cottage...

Despite 2 days of cold drizzle/rain, we loved having the cottage to call 'home.' It is a cozy renovated shed (yes, the bedroom is tiny and one person sleeps facing a wall), but the convenience of a kitchenette and the huge bathroom were so nice. We were able to dash up each night to Volcano NP to see the crater...

Aloha, Thank you for being our guests at Volcano Artist Cottage, overall we are happy you had a positive experience with us. The historic cottage is cozy and romantic and we try to make it as comfortable as possible. We have never had issues with the location of queen sized bed before. It's true, the cottage is located in a...

Okay, this place if over the top adorable and romantic. If you are a twenty-something honeymooning in Hawaii, stay here. It's great for couples of one person that wants to get away form it all. It's a converted large shed with a n added kitchen and luxury bathroom. Really well done. You have private access to the grounds at night...

I have been coming to visit and stay here for almost 20 years. A cozy small space with a kitchen, fabulous large bathroom for 2 and a hot tub. Also includes fruits, cereal, coffees, teas and the amazing quiet ambience within a mile of VNP.

My wife did a great job with this booking. We got in on a cold rainy night. All correspondence and instructions were spot on for directions and access to the unit. The units have a small kitchenette with all required items and utensils to prepare a wide range of meals. One note the kitchenette only has a gas range but...

This cozy cottage was a great base for my partner and I as we spent 3 days exploring the Volcano National Park and surrounds. The included breakfast was banana bread, fruit and museli - and Kona coffee of course! Ira was a lovely host. We didn't get a chance to eat at the café on the grounds, but definitely check...

I live on the Kona side of the Big Island and recently took a "stay-cation" with a friend visiting from Canada. This cottage was the perfect place! Beautiful grounds, cozy cabin (with an awesome shower!) and a private hot tub. Very close to HVNP and other Volcano attractions. The staff were very friendly and wanted to ensure we had the...

The Artist Cottage at Volcano Garden Arts is a very unique setting. The location was great. Five minutes from Volcanos National Park gave us the chance to return to the park each night to see the glow of the crater. On the cottage grounds are Café Ono, serving excellent food, we had a great lunch. Also, the gallery made for...

The tiny cottage, with spacious bathroom addition, had everything we needed-even breakfast supplies. We loved having the garden all to ourselves in the evenings. We enjoyed exploring Hawaii Volcanoes National Park and then coming home to soak in the hot tub under the big tree and the stars.
