Volcano Village is beautiful and secluded. Our room was amazing and always clean. The staff was very welcoming and on top of everyything. The day we made it to Hawaii we had a little trouble renting a car the first day there due to only having a debit card and not a credit card. We ended up taking a taxi...

We stayed for only one night, so we could be close to Volcanos National Park, but wish we could have stayed longer. The gardens are amazing, they are "sculpted" says Kay the owner. Her and her husband are exceedingly gracious, met us as we came in and gave us the grand tour. Our room was spectacular--they thought of everything, including...

My husband and I had a fantastic 3 night stay (2 nights in the Haleakala and 1 night in the Mauna Kea room) at Volcano Village Lodge to celebrate our second wedding anniversary. Our rooms were cozy and comfortable with many thoughtful amenities. We loved the proximity to Volcanoes National Park - both for the ability to arrive in the...

We ended our last trip to Hawaii by spending three marvelous days at the Volcano Village Lodge. Staff, grounds, breakfast, and lodging were great. The concrete of Kailua was replaced with pathways through lush gardens leading to our lodging. Room and deck gave views of the gardens, no pavement, concrete, or crowds in sight. Peace and quiet, no vehicle sounds...

Staying at Volcano Village Lodge on the Big Island Hawaii was an AMAZING FANTASY. You stay in a beautiful one or two bedroom home in the rainforest within minutes of the volcano, crater, ocean and more. It includes beautiful furnishings, extremely comfortable bed, kitchenette, prepared breakfast with wonderful fruit, coffee and tea, robes, slippers, TV and DVD to watch lava...

I knew there was a chance that we would regret staying here for only one night, and we did. However, maybe we would not have appreciated everything to quite the same extent if we were staying longer. Nothing was overlooked. Nothing. As far as the cabin, the room itself was beyond 4-star. We had the most peaceful, restful time and...

Wonderful getaway in the rainforest with rooms that almost make you forget that there are others staying at the lodge also. Location and lots of windows make this lodge a great getaway. My husband and I enjoyed the quiet, privacy and nature. This is our kind of meeting nature...with more than the comforts of home. Would like to have tried...

We spent one night here after arriving KOA that afternoon. It's a perfect point from which to explore HVNP. We stayed in the Haleakala Suite for one night, and found it quite comfortable. All of the suites seem to be tucked privately into the rain forest. The lodge is literally a 5-minute drive from the entrance to the National Park....
