It was just one short evening and a great breakfast, but we highly recommend. Rooms was very nice, beds comfortable with a great breakfast. Beautiful tropical landscape and walking distance from 2 restaurants. Less than 5 minutes from the Volcano Visitors Center.

Although we only stayed one night, it was definitely enjoyable. This was about the only place we could find that would even allow only 1 night in the area which was a plus. Breakfast was delicious, especially the orange juice. Room was nice, very homey feel to it. Bed was very comfortable and there was also a soft heated blanket... More

Been going here for many years and always return each year. Robert is a great maker of breakfast - he and Susan are our Ohana in volcano! We enjoy the close proximity to the national park and look forward to this visit.

We spent an overnight at the Aloha junction in anticipation of seeing the volcano at night. Aloha Junction is a beautiful 1920 Plantation House very well appointed featuring fruit trees and flowers. Our stay was very pleasant and breakfast was great.

Volcanos National Park is a wonderful experience, but can be challenging to the family to accomplish in a single day. Why not maximize the experience by including the Bed and Breakfast experience. We are staying on the Kona side of the big island, so we planned our excursion as follows: Leave Kona side of island about 9:00 in the morning... More

We were happy there, but there were drawbacks. The place had a musty smell and was a little dated. However, we had a great time with breakfast and the company. The gardens were beautiful. Awaken by a rooster, but not their fault, seems common in Hawaii. It was confortable.

The location is super good. 5 mins to volcano park visitor center or 10 mins to Jaggar museum, very easy for us to drive back after dark. There are a couple of restaurants nearby, about 3 mins driving distance. Owner Robert is a nice guy and prepared delicious breakfast for all guests - sausage, pancake, papaya is very fresh and... Comfortable bed, good breakfast, large common areas, quiet location, friendly hosts, lots of nice touches - free computer & wifi in each room. Only a few minutes drive from Volcano park. Restaurants, cafe and local shop just up the road. Make sure you have at least one dinner at Kilauea Lodge Restaurant.

The Aloha Junction B and B is very comfortable place to stay. It is not for those who want glamour and glitz. The living area is comfy with period furniture.
