Convenient location when visiting Pahoa Village, for the Lava boat tour or for hiking to the lava flow from the Kalapana side. We only stayed one night and were pleasantly surprised by what we got for $69.50.

Despite a mixup with my room on the first night, I had a great stay. Ophelia just simply put me up in a different room for my first night then had the other room ready for me. Thanks again for an enjoyable stay.

We only stayed one night and booked at the last minute as we were visiting the volcano park the next day. The room is dark even with the blinds up. Full of strange cabinets full of old clutter and ornaments. The bed was ok and clean. The bathroom cleanish too. You have to check in at the pizza takeaway down...

This place had the basics for a good stay. Comfortable beds, warm shower in clean bathroom, nice living room, kitchen w/stove and sink, and location near shops and restaurants. Perfect for me since I was alone. I also enjoyed talking to the owner, Ophelia who treated me with a great deal of kindness. Thank you.

My wife and I found The Paradise Inn to be a bargain. Nice, comfy king size bed with eclectic furnishings, it was a cozy place to spend a few days. Ample kitchen enabled us to enjoy some good home cooking. Although no wifi was included, we discovered that if you went across the street to the Sirius Cafe and made...

Like other travelers we needed a quick room for a night possibly more if we wanted to see a bit more of the volcano area. For two couples the price barely justifies the state of this place. It's only assets are proximity to a couple decent restaurants and it's less expensive than a more accommodating b/b or guest house or...

This place is very well located and this is its only asset. otherwise, the room is dirty, never cleaned after each guest. the toilets have never been repaired contrary to what the owner said during 5 days. if u can avoid that place, do so ! Very expensive for its value !

We booked over the phone, last minute because we'd never planned to stay overnight in Volcano; in a few words, there must be better places there!!! But if this is all you can afford or is available then stay because the lava hike is WELL WORTH staying overnight for.
