Kamuela Inn is NEWLY RENOVATED boutique hotel in the heart of Waimea on the island of Hawaii. Located just a 45-minute drive from the Ellison Onizuka Airport in Kailua-Kona, and hour's drive from the Hilo Airport, Kamuela Inn serves as a great spot for visiting all that the island has to offer. Serving a daily complimentary continental breakfast, our guests start their day off right with a delicious selection of pastries, breads, cereals, oatmeal, fresh fruit, boiled & scrambled eggs, hot meat dishes and of course, the coffee and juices. Guests also can't stop raving about their beautiful night's sleep on our Simmon's Felicity pillowtop beds and Natural Comfort allergen free pillows, and being snuggled in our soft Comfy sheets. There's just too much to share. Just come and visit us and see for yourself! (Please note: final renovations of eight of our original 1960's units begin October 2019 into late Spring 2020. These units have not been renovated yet.)

They've done extensive remodeling. The rooms are large, well decorated, and comfortable. The bathroom was very nicely done. Bed was comfortable, but the pillows were a bit too small and too soft. They had us order a hot breakfast from a menu, then we went to pick it up and take back to our room. That was a nice amenity in these days of a brown bag with granola bars. Staff, as always, very helpful and friendly,

Perfect location just off the main road, recently updated rooms very quiet and comfortable. First class service by all the staff. We stayed in room 19 on the second floor, which was very convenient to all guest amenity spaces and lobby. Strongly recommend.

Love the new look of the property, office, rooms, etc. Ashlyn helped me with the reservation on the phone and when I arrived at the Inn and she was very pleasant, courteous and very accommodating! We got room #15, quaint lovely room, perfect for our needs that night since I had an early morning flight the next day. The only issue I had, was the floor being so dusty! After getting out of the shower, toweling off one would still have a bit of dampness under foot, well by the time I got from the bathroom to the bed (and let me tell you, it was only a few steps away) my feet was caked with dust ad debris from the bare floor! Might I suggest area rugs that may help with this issue! Otherwise, the bed was very comfortable, like I was sleeping in my own bed at home, loved the decor of and the amenities in the bathrooms! If not for the crap that was stuck to my feet, I would have given the Kamuela Inn a 5-star ratinggggg!

From the well kept and nicely decorated grounds, to the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff and management, to the well maintained and cleanliness of the room, to the high quality of the breakfast, this hotel was a delight. I highly recommend staying here and will be a repeat customer myself.
