Basic accomodation. Nothing fancy. Hotel didnt have elevators. But, very close to the airport. Breakfast is served at the adjacent restaurant. Breakfast was good although quantity was less. The strawberry yogurt was delicious, nothing like the store bought. The view of the bay from the balcony was very good. The property outside seemed to be well maintained.

We stayed at both the Hilo Seaside and Kona Seaside Hotel and were pleased with the accommodations. Again this is not a high end motel and the layout was a bit funky and maze like to get to the room. Rooms are nice and what I expected for the price. Bed was decent but wouldn't want to spend more than...

It is located close to the airport and the waterfront and a 5 minute drive to downtown Hilo. The hotel grounds are nice with a koi pond in front and pleasant courtyards surrounded the rooms. It has a swimming pool. The rooms are a little small, reasonably clean and functional. Nothing too fancy. The lobby area is open and nice....

There really are not any great options in Hilo. This hotel is very close to the airport and 30-40 minutes to Volcano National park. It is a funky hotel built in 1955 with a restaurant attached. We only had breakfast there the last day which was part of the package. Free breakfast for two each night but you chose from...

This isn't one of your luxury tourist resorts, but I didn't plan to spend much time in my room, so it worked great for me. The location is fine, walking distance to parks, the bay, and the more expensive hotels (which locals told me aren't all that much better than Hilo Seaside). My rate included some breakfast choices, which were...

Room was clean but horribly dated. This place needs a facelift in the worst way. Our bed was so hard it felt like I was sleeping on a board. The only reason I gave this place an average rating instead of poor, was because the front desk was incredibly friendly and pointed us in the direction of a fantastic restaurant...

There is no elevator. We were placed on level 2, when asked if there was a room available on the first floor due to our 40kgs of luggage. The receiptionist took us out our room and told us to come back in an hour which would be 4pm. We never said we wanted to swap rooms and we told her...

No clean rooms, beds were ugly and dirty. Bugs were running around when we entered the room. Loud location and service team was not that friendly apart from one lady. Hotel is too close too street and airport. Couldn't sleep so we cancelled booking and went back to Kona. Hilo is died out. Shops and restaurants are more dirty and...

This place was more than we expected for our 3 night stay in Hilo. Just minutes from the airport and within walking distance of small beach areas and parks. But the folks who work here make the difference. Always smiling and always willing to help. They willingly allowed printing out of boarding passes. The room was spacious and clean with...

The hotel room (deluxe room overlooking the koi pond, with a partial ocean view), was clean, but had a musty smell. Little balcony. Probably the only rooms we'd want to stay in, as some of the other rooms would have no view or just an industrial view. The wifi was difficult to connect to. You'd be connected, then it would...
