Probably one of the loveliest bed and breakfast ever experienced! Can’t say enough. It is a serene and aesthetically pleasing guest house. Surrounded by mango and banana trees (40 different types of trees) with a fantastic view of the ocean. The breakfasts are amazing.

We absolutely loved this property. Our stay was magical - between the swing hanging from the huge mango tree to the hot tub under the stars, we never wanted to leave. We spent a lovely afternoon on the lanai and evenings listening to the chorus of frogs. The breakfast was amazing - fruit, homemade breakfast entrees like homemade banana pancakes - and the setting was spectacular with the view over the pacific. But what made it truly special was the hosts. Michael, Greg and Hannah were so friendly and kind. I've never stayed at a B&B where I felt so at home. From inviting us to bring our dinners back to eat on the lanai to the friendly chats with our daughter, it felt like we were at a cousin's house in paradise.

We are a family, 2 adults and 2 kids, 8 and 6 and we would have loved to stay more days here. Our bedroom was very spacious, clean with all the amenities we needed. The owners are very kind and they answer your requests quickly. This place is the best!!

Where to start - Michael and Gregg's amazing hospitality? Incredible views from the lanai? Guestroom overlooking the ocean? Delicious breakfasts with homegrown coffee? I stayed in the main guesthouse for two nights and wish I could have stayed longer. So peaceful, so rejuvenating, so simply and perfectly lovely! Outdoor shower was a neat experience. The grounds are impeccable and beautiful. Michael told me the best places for meals in Captain Cook and both were excellent. Thank you for a memorable experience!

This review is for the main guesthouse and not the cabins on the plantation. We are currently staying in Hilo in a hotel, but we're traveling to Kona for a excursion we decided to book a room somewhere for the night instead of driving the hour and a half back to Hilo. We discovered this location while searching for a room for the night. At first we were amazed by the beautiful pictures of this place and the simple ideas of a bed and breakfast. We arrived at the location which is a private drive up to the house. We were instantly in love with the surrounding flora and vegetation of the drive up. Upon arriving at the house, we were amazed by the location. Simply put, its a magical location with a very scenic view of the surrounding areas and the dynamic view of the ocean and the sun setting perfectly over it as it passes over the house and drops right in front of you into the sea. The house itself is absolutely beautiful. Clean, simple yet effectively decorated and all around just a beautiful house. We stayed in the mountain room with its own half bathroom, and simple amenities. We were greeted with a custom note on the front door welcoming us in, and explaining were our room was and other important info we needed for stay. After returning later in the night, the house was quiet yet welcoming, and incredibly peaceful. I haven't slept this well in a long time, with the background noise of nature. The next morning we awoke to a beautiful breakfast provided by the wonderful Hannah, and enjoyed the beautiful view while eating on the back deck. We will absolutely be trying to stay here again before we leave and will recommend this over any hotel for its pure experience. Thank you Michael, Greg and Hannah for the wonderful experience! 11/10 will recommend.
